The 860 is, without a doubt, the best SATA SSD on the market. Sure, there are other options out there that are less, but you won't find anything better out there in this form factor.

Needed a primary drive upgrade, and this drive was well worth the purchase. The reviews were on point. It does it's job. Speeds are as advertised.

The ssd I received through mail had the pins the other way around. So it wouldn't fit in the enclosure. Had to exchange it. Best Buy exchanged it right away. The new ssd is just great. Super fast.

Replacing the hard drive in an old machine can speed it up dramatically. Samsung also encrypts the drive if the motherboard supports disk passwords--many don't, so check the bios first.

Though there is nothing that sets this apart other than speed and size, it's really a great upgrade to an older computer without sacrificing storage space like the smaller SSD drives.

Easy to install. Very fast compared to traditional HDD. Installed in PS4 and it makes a huge difference in loading times. Recommend if you need space and would like to skip long loading screens.

I have two of these now that I have bought on sale each time. They work great and I haven't had a single issue with the first and was happy to get a second one.

bought this to swap out from regular internal spin hard drive in a 2015 iMac. It has made my computer faster than new. If you have an older computer with regular spin drive. update today to SSD.

I bought this on sale because I was running out of storage on the PC I built. I already had the exact same one, so I knew what to get and that Samsung has a great product. The only “negative” things that I will say is that there is only 931 GB of usable storage, so I’m not quite sure why it’s not a full 1TB but I think it’s that way for every product (don’t quote me on that though). The other thing is that NVMe’s are a bit of a better option(not a negative review on this SSD, just something to consider and look into if you’re building a PC). Overall, it gets the job done and stores my files. Easy to install too

Samsung makes some of the Best SSD I've worked with out of all the computers ive owned, the software Samsung Magician is great and will keep the firmware up to date.

Outstanding hard drive. Quiet. Just a top of the mark hard drive. Smokin' fast. My laptop has never been faster. Samsung is a top of the line stereo and computer company.

I used this hard drive to repair my old MacBook Pro!! The computer works like new. Love to older MacBooks compared to the new MacBooks. So glad I was able to repair my computer!!!

I installed this on a brand new build had all the major software installed onto quickly and can pull it up without waiting, going to be adding a few more of these soon

Best SD Drives on the market! I've had others but the Samsung clearly is the best. I even use them in industries settings and they never fail. Can't say that about other brands I've used.

This is a great upgrade to a computer with a spinning drive. I can't believe the speed difference - the computer boots Windows 10 from totally off in less than 20 seconds!

Just bought a computer with a regular drive in it then I saw this on sale , the best investment I've made. the drive is so much faster and quieter , and with no moving parts its less to break.

Spinning metal bad silicon make computer fast. Bought to house MW2, Fortnite, and tasteful videos of ladies. If CoD keeps up their patches the ladies may have to go.

Installed in 2yr.old Dell with 1TB mech drive. Great migration software and easy install. Laptop now has much improved speed on startup and shutdown. New life for older laptop.
