Bought this when it was on sale its a great quick cheap upgrade for a computer if you're looking to upgrade from your old spinning drive.

Purchased this thinking I was going to have at least some issues with an older SATA connection, not one bit. Plug and Play and is really super fast. I would purchase another!

I have been using this SSD non-stop for a month now. I got to say, I am, not only satisfied, impressed. I would recommend due to the speed and no frustration using it.

My hard drive died and I replaced it with the Samsung 860 Evo series solid-state drive. Boot up is especially fast. This gave my computer new life! I definitely recommend the upgrade.

I purchased this for my PS4 Pro. It was very easy to install. I am very happy with the load times for my games, namely Division 2. I would say it is 50 to 75% faster.

Easy to install, and fixed my boot speed issues. I had to replace my old hard drive on laptop, and had no prior experience working on this type of hardware.

This Samsung 1TB SSD was easy to set up but you will probably need an enclosure to put it in a desktop as it didn’t even come with screws. Gave about a 60% speed improvement to the system.

I gave it four stars because as a not so experience computer’s person, this ssd didn’t mention anywhere outside the box that it needs extra cables. I had to buy them online somewhere else to connect this unit with my PC which obviously was a bummer when I got home and realized I couldn’t do anything yet until the cables arrived. After that, the SSD worked just fine. And quick as it’s supposed to.

Computer works faster now then before. Start up is easier. Runs more smoothly.

I purchased this drive to replace an HDD drive in an older laptop. Based on specs and performance, it has revived the laptop to today's performance requirements.

There are a couple of faster drives out there but none as reliable as the samsung brand. I've put it through the editing ringer and its held up fantastically.

I've purchased two of these for low budget machines and have been very pleased with the new life it put into the machines. They work better than when they were new.

This is the 2nd time I get another Samsung 860 Evo SSD, I love the brand and the performance. I got 2 more slots that I might occupy with two of these later on.

It's a great upgrade for a PC. The specs say it's faster than the old 850 (I have a few of these too) but they're both so fast it's hard to tell.

I own several Samsung SSDs, of various models. Never had a problem with any. But if I did, they have a long warranty. Great way to rejuvenate an older PC that uses a spinning hard disk.

With a transfer cable the install was super easy. My boot times are a few seconds to the Windows startup screen now. Lots cheaper than getting a new laptop.

Upgraded my Mac with a solid state drive with expert help from the Geek Squad. Works so much faster with the upgrade-would absolutely do this on other my computers.

Just installed the solid state hard drive and my speed is 10 times fast than my old hard drive. For the cost, this is a great investment to eliminate frustratingly slow computer speed.
