Easy installation. Worked flawlessly for PS4 Hard drive upgrade. Recommended for anyone looking for inexpensive major upgrade to there PS4 devices or computers.

This SSD replaced the original rotary drive on my HP laptop, which was ailing and about to fail. The computer is now much faster than it ever was. I would recommend this reasonably priced SSD.

I bought a new refurbished i7 HP Elite Desk Workstation Edition that had a Standard SATA 1 TB Hard Drive. The first thing I wanted to do was replace the old 1 TB SATA HD with a new SSD. I purchased this Samsung 870 EVO and couldn't be happier with it's performance. Installation was a breeze. I purchased the Sabrent SATA Hard Drive/SSD to USB 3.0 Adapter from Best Buy to clone the current drive. The 870 EVO came with Magician Software and the Sabrent adapter came with Acronis Cloning Software. I used The Magician and it worked perfectly.

I bought this drive to replace a dying 2004 Hard Drive on my Pump It Up Arcade Cabinet. It works a lot better since it is a SSD and is more reliable. It loads a lot faster as well.

Fast, reliable, exactly as expected. Replaced in a mini PC. Access to the magician software makes data migration easy and ongoing drive monitoring a breeze.

I originally purchased this to upgrade my PlayStation 4's storage and loading performance, which it managed to do as expected and above, the load times are incredibly fast and the menus work better than intended. Product went above and beyond expectations while also being at a reasonable price.

Changed from HDD to an SSD and disk usage % dropped abysmally. I used to have 100% disk usage recurrently, and now it remains below 20%. I bought it two years ago and it still performs great (see picture below) Normally I play League of Legends or Minecraft, which aren't very demanding games as it comes to data retrieval, but if you're thinking about switching to solid state definitely go for it.

This SSD replaced a failed HHD on an older i7 computer. The improvement I got in speed was far greater than I expected. Everything improved from boot time to programs loading and running smoother. This relatively small priced purchase gives this computer many more years of very productive use.

I modify GTA V. a lot and I have a stack of 7 Samsung - 860 EVO 1TB Internal SATA. That I use externally as backup storage of my mods and full game backups. I figured I'd try the Samsung - 870 EVO 1TB Internal SATA and bought 2 of them. I find myself using these more often than the 860's. They just seem faster. I'll definitely be purchasing more Samsung - 870 EVO's in the future.

So far so good, I personally use this unit just for storage and I have installed some games in it, the speed is expected below some captures. my laptop only has 1 M.2 port and 1 Sata. so I use SATA for this unit. but I will recommend using a Nvme M.2 PCIe 4.0 which has more speed.

You can't go wrong with a Samsung SSD. I upgraded a 5 year old HDD laptop with this Samsung SSD. the difference is night and day. Computer boots and runs very fast - like new. I watch Carey Holzman on YouTube and he urged all laptop users with HDD drives to upgrade to SSD. I took his advice and it's a world of difference.
