Halve Price but beware, some don't work correctly!

One of the two we bought of these actually worked correctly. Samsung 870 EVO have been a favorite drive (we have used many) and with the Microsoft boot sector viruses so often found (easy fix) we thought we might try "Refurbished" at about 1/2 regular price. 2nd drive reported a growing number of "bad sectors" and would not recover the sectors with low format (showing defective hardware). Best Buy was great about the return, but this taught us about this experiment with "refurbished"... Buy new when it counts, for us we don't have the time to waste on testing and returns!

My cousin was still running an hdd as his primary drive, purchased this to upgrade for him. Cloned the drive and his performance increase was immediate. Samsung makes excellent ssd's and I would recommend them always.
