This is an awesome and excellent product for the price and I highly recommend it to people looking to upgrade their storage space. I bought this product for my PS4 and ot works like a charm. I plan on buying the 2TB model fory old laptop and an extra 1TB model just to have as extra storage.

I bought a couple of these and they work great on my PC and akai beat machine,it's a great way to save your device from acting up, which is common, due to lack of space in internal memory.

Upgrading from a mechanical drive to an SSD in a 2015 HP laptop. Don't know if it'll work, but it should. I'm cloning disks as I type this and am on the 2nd 1TB now. Will know more when I get done and put the laptop back together. It's either that, or get another laptop.

We're at the point where we know: SSDs are where it's at. This was a valuable yet cheap upgrade to an aging computer that gave it new life from the old platter drive it had. Samsung also offering free migration/cloning options is also invaluable, even for the most un-tech savvy folks out there.

This hard drive is very good quality and very quiet when running.

To keep it brief, I'll say that I'm not using it for my PC; I'm using it as an external for my PS4 Pro. It works great. I will add that, using a USB 3.0 enclosure, I only achieved 350 MB/s read/write on my Mac for benchmarking, which is definitely lower than the advertised 500 MB/s max speeds. All said and done, though, I got this on a deep discount. This is a quality, competitive SSD from Samsung.

My Lenovo laptop was having problems updating. Seems my hard drive was failing and I had no clue. I called Lenovo support and they referred me to the Geek Squad at Best Buy. The Geek Squad replaced my hard drive with an SSD hard drive and now my laptop performs like new again. Besides Crucial and Sandisk, I consider Samsung the king of SSD makers. I used to to upgrade an old all-in-one lenovo desktop, and everything runs about 5 times faster. very easy to install.

Upgraded an old laptop that needed a larger drive for an operating system. Did the job.

Super simple to set up and transfer my games over. I was having issues with stuttering in FPS games running on a regular HD I downloaded them on this SSD and now they run great. Almost thought of upgrading my pc until I found this fix.
