This is my go to drive for computers with no m.2 slot and can only use sata.

For sake of ease? This was among one of the easiest to install in my rig. But for sake of use? I had no real luck utilizing this hard drive, between the Samsung Magician not being exactly helpful with troubleshooting and anything I stored and ran off of it ran worse than my pre installed SSD and even the HDD I installed after replacing the Samsung one. It could have just been a bad unit, but doing everything from formatting it and reinstalling it from scratch yielded no different results.

My PC even runs a little faster now.

Would boot sometimes and not others. Diagnosis: bad hard drive. Replaced with the EVO SSD. The computer is in use 8 hours/day and back to normal; no problems. I intend to get another one for another slow computer I have.

They were running out of storage and this provides more than enough. Easy setup, and they were off and running in no time. No issues/problems so far. I think I’m purchasing one for my graphic design work.

Cloning the original was easy and complete. Once I had the SSD installed , the laptop was significantly faster to boot, startup programs and load pages. Internet was way faster too.

About 4+ years ago I put a Samsung SSD SATA drive into an old laptop, and it's solid as a rock. I expect this improved model will exceed that.

It's so much heavier than the WD SSD it is replacing, and I think it is a good thing.
