    The 1TB SSD drive replaced a .5TB SSD drive that is used for Media storage only. It worked ok, but the drive needs to be initialized before it is accessed.

    Replace an old Hitachi mechanical drive. System boots up very fast programs launch quickly. Got another 3 to 5 years out of the computer I’m thinking.

    Excellent ssd. My cousin was still running an hdd as his primary drive, purchased this to upgrade for him. Cloned the drive and his performance increase was immediate. Samsung makes excellent ssd's and I would recommend them always.
