It's one of the faster SATA SSD's I've bought, and has a noticeable increase in performance compared to a Crucial and some weird off-brand I got before. Sustained read/write is where this one shines.

I have purchased dozens of these over the last few years for inexpesnive upgrade to customer computers. It usually increases the system speed by at least 20% after a proper upgrade install. It's worth the price if you have an older system.

SSD speeds up my PC

Both have worked well. Much faster boot times. Much faster program launches. Much faster software updates. Data migration from HDD to SSD using Samsung tool worked perfectly each time. The first SSD has run flawlessly for a year now.

Geek squad had reported on clean up of my computer that the hard drive was weak. The new Samsung works effortlessly and the start-up has gone from timely to immediately
