    Changing out the hard drive to this solid state drive was a miraculous experience. Geek squad had reported on clean up of my computer that the hard drive was weak. The new Samsung works effortlessly and the start-up has gone from timely to immediately

    Got it for my brother, he's been doing a lot of research on storage drive for his laptop and he ended up choosing this after lots of research and it seems to work great.

    Nice drive at good price. I haven’t noticed performance improvement of this 870 model over a model 860 1TB drive. In fact seeing some things run slower. Will need to investigate further.

    Somewhat difficult to install because my notebook did not have easy access but once installed the hard drive has its own software to set it up! Very fast startup now!

    A bit pricey but you can't go wrong with these Samsung EVO line of SSDs. I have an older 500GB EVO 850 that's been in use every day for the last 5 years or so and it's still going strong.

    Bought this as a replacement for a drive I suspected was starting to fail. Replacement was straightforward and relatively painless. Software worked well, and I was back in business with a new SSD in short order.

    Laptop we had, had the Hard drive go bad. Purchased the SSD from Best Buy and had Geek Squad remove old. They also were able to retrieve all the data and put it on SSD.
