You can saturate a dual channel controllers 6gbps bw even at 9.6 on a 3rd gen slot with 8 of these in raid 0. No dram cache runout. Its all write performance, and it is amazing.

I bought this to replace the hard drive in my laptop. It use to take approximately 5 minutes to startup and was frustrating. Now that this ssd has been installed it takes approximately 40 seconds maximum time to startup.
