Excellent Solid State Drive

Samsung makes the top of the line solid state drives, so this was a no brainer purchase when Best Buy put them on sale. The 1TB SSD to me is the sweet spot in terms of performance, storage, and price. 0 complaints after two months of use.

The part that was exceptional was the fact that it was not available where i went but the associate offered to have it delivered at no cost from another store. It came the next day and was delivered per the agreement.

My first external hard drive

It is simple and effective. I had over 12,000 photos to transfer, so it took some time to upload everything to the drive. My only concern during the transfer was how warm it was getting. However, I am glad to report that it is still working smoothly and handling everything as if I just bought it.

Upgrade Your Desktop

Since installing the product, my desktop is working like it is brand new. Good price too and did not need to buy a new computer.

Painless

Purpose was to create a clone of my 500 GB samsung EVO drive in case something went wrong. The software for this 1 TB drive includes the software to clone your original drive to this new drive. The cloning process was quick and painless. I have a 10+ yr old Dell with 16 GB memory running Windows 10. I will add, that, in order to clone my old drive to my new drive, I used a SATA to USB cable: SATA end plugged into my new drive and USB end plugged into my USB port on my computer. The cloning process will not work if you have the new drive connected to your computer via its SATA port: there are very specific instructions that say this.

Excellent SDD!

The upgrade was incredibly easy and worked without any problems. I had to download Samsung software to copy the old drive to the new. Now my desktop runs like new. Programs open almost instantly. I have another 2TB HDD in the desktop that I am going to upgrade too. I am very excited about this upgrade!

Long Time Customer

Great SSD at an awesome price

I have owned several Samsung SSDs and they have all been fast for my needs. I bought this SSD to put into a budget mini PC and this drive is fast for loading videos and music in my office. I no longer have to wait for files to load or windows to open. Everything opens instantly with this drive. This drive is running inside of an Intel n100 mini pc and if you haven't heard of mini PCs you definitely should learn about the value they present. They basically have laptop chips inside of a case the size of a portable music player. Mini PCs are the future of desktop computers and Best Buy actually sells some of them. Thank you as always Best Buy for offering same day pickup of awesome products like this.
