The Samsung 870 EVO SSD is working flawlessly after cloning my old 250 GB on to my new 1 TB SSD. The cloning process went smoothly with no problems. I now enjoy a spacious SSD at a great price thanks to Best Buy!

Upgraded from EVO 860 500G to EVO 870 1T Apple MacBook Pro. If doing same, don’t used Apple Disk Utility, use Apple Migration Assistant instead. Disk Utility fails with a “Failed to Invert Volume-Code 22”. Not the EVO’s fault. Drive is fast and reliable.

The tech who installedthe item told me that after it was installed, my laptop would run better than it did with the previous drive which was run by a band. He was right. It's almost lightning quick.

Highly recommend replacing your HDD drive with one of these. Completely rejuvenated my 10+ year old laptop. Easy to install and set up. Remember to get the USB to SATA cable. Samsung provides good instructions and data migration software.

This is made my computer start up much quicker than with the previous hard drive. Every day operations are much quicker now too.

I love this drive. Its decently fast and can be moved around. I do this alot for work and other things. Plus with its size. It can also be used as an bigger Laptop storage space.

Highly recommended for replacing or upgrading an older internal HD. Super fast and no moving parts will make this a big win, and will outlast the old tech. I used the 870 to replace the HD in my 2012 iMac and it works like a new computer, only faster!

This SSD works wonders for what I wanted it for. Installation was a bit difficult only because of my pre-build's design. It small design makes it great for nearly any computer.

Very impressive performance. My old desktop went from super slow to super fast with this solid state drive and an additional 8MB of memory.

I used samsung magician to copy the old drive that was failing over to the samsung ssd. I then installed the new drive and the speed was incredible. Gave a new life on my laptop. Thanks Dan

Bought 2 of these Samsung - 870 EVO 1TB Internal SSD SATA drives on sale as practice to clone and replace my very old hdd drives. I cloned the oldest drive and the sdd copy seemed to be as desired. 2 weeks later the hdd started acting up on me abd I switched it to the ssd and all is well. Very simple do. Samsung provides the software to do it all. Yes, I will buy more of these when they come back on sale. I only gave it a 4 on quality just because I have no idea what the actual quality is.
