As a tech nerd and graduate in the field I dont use anything other than Samsung drives. With the exception of m.2's like the Samsung 980. Those ill stick with Kingston Fury's. I use these in a RAID configuration, i have 3 in one laptop, 4 in another, 8 in my pc, uhh 6 in my server and 4 in a raid enclosure. Yeah, i got a lot of boxes Highly recommend especially if theyre on sale. Can never have too much storage!

I had one laptop that I was ready to throw away because it was so slow. I cloned the drive to this and put it in the laptop, and it was like a new computer. If you have a mechanical hard drive, change to this and maybe add some RAM (at least 8GB if you have a 64-bit OS) and you won't regret it. They are so economical, there's no reason not to get one with lots of capacity so it'll last you for years.

Totally made my system very fast. Everything opens and closes fast. Boots up and shuts down in seconds not minutes. I totally recommend it!!

Have replaced the motherboard once as well as having to replace motherboard and power supply once from bad ground at a customer site. Even using a small UPS was not protection enough. Thankfully I did not lose the data though I lost some hardware. Thanks Samsung!

Since it did not require reinstallation of windows and the headaches caused by Microsoft and its inability to restore my operating system and additional software reliably with a simple image.
