I got this to replace the OG HDD in the console so it could stop sounding like a Spirit Airlines plane. My PS4 now loads faster and is a lot quieter. My only thing with any SSD is that the prices are too high. I wish they were more affordable and that more electronics already had a reliable SSD inside. Otherwise, no complaints from me.

Quick to install and fast.

I had an older Asus laptop with an HDD with Windows 10 and took about 12 minutes to fully load. After replacing the HDD with the Solid State drive and reinstalling Windows, it takes less than 30 seconds to boot. I also have a gaming desktop which did have an SS 250 GB drive, but that was too small and kept running out of space. The rest of the computer is in great shape, but just needed that additional boost of storage. Desktop boots up with no delays and was able to reinstall Windows with no problems.

Purchased a 1 TB SSD, new life for an old LT

Geek Squad installed a Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SSD and Windows 10. It has no moving parts, has a very fast boot time; it is really fast. If you have the older type SATA HD, I would highly recommend switching to a SSD. I purchased a similar 2TB SSD for my wife's laptop as well. Considering the vast improvement with speed and boot time, the cost was worth it for both; the cost of the SSDs were very reasonable also.
