    Works as described. Easy to set up. Like it better than the different cloud storage systems because I am in control, not an algorithm running the cloud. I can also take it to another computer and access my files.

    My laptop had been giving problems for months. Finally, it got stuck on an update and wouldn't stop saying that I shouldn't turn off my computer. The Geek Squad at Best Buy suggested that I get a clone of my hard drive. I had my computer back in a couple of days, with all my files intact. The computer is working so much better now. I am really pleased and glad that the computer now has this drive instead of the old one.

    Besides Crucial and Sandisk, I consider Samsung the king of SSD makers. I used to to upgrade an old all-in-one lenovo desktop, and everything runs about 5 times faster. very easy to install.

    I have chosen this drive model several times to update different laptop PCs, replacing mechanical hard drives. In every case the migration (using Samsung's software from their web site) has gone perfectly, and the speedup has been dramatic. For me, the "plus" is the Samsung software, which creates a bootable replacement drive for me each and every time, on the first try. Highly recommended!

    I haven't had a lot of experience with SSDs but I have had my fair share of installing hard drives. For sake of ease? This was among one of the easiest to install in my rig. But for sake of use? I had no real luck utilizing this hard drive, between the Samsung Magician not being exactly helpful with troubleshooting and anything I stored and ran off of it ran worse than my pre installed SSD and even the HDD I installed after replacing the Samsung one. It could have just been a bad unit, but doing everything from formatting it and reinstalling it from scratch yielded no different results.

    Needed a bigger hard drive, this was it! Easy to install. Made me feel like a dinosaur when I saw how SMALL these are now! We wven bought an enclosure somewhere else for the old one and now its an external HD! Win-win. Glad Best Buy had this in stock for easy pickup.

    This product was a godsend. I had two laptops that had hard drives fail and i was able to replace them with this product and was able to reimage and be back up and running in about an hour. I will look to use these to replace the hard drives in the other older laptops in my office.
