Cloning the original was easy and complete. Once I had the SSD installed , the laptop was significantly faster to boot, startup programs and load pages. Internet was way faster too.

My laptop now boots up in 30 seconds where it used to be minutes. Also, documents are almost instant when selected. This is the best upgrade I've ever made to one of my computers. Loved it so much I did it with an old laptop I had and it performs better than new now!

Great drive to upgrade an old pc

I upgraded the original hdd after it finally gave out on me. With the samsung ssd installed the thing boots faster than my new Imac. Totally great speed. I recommend this drive for any sata ssd upgrade

Great purchase option

It made my aging pc feel zippy. Gaming is obviously better. Planning on another soon as the size is great but i now want to expand into editing.

A SATA SSD is a no brainer upgrade IMO. Wouldn't call this one the best in the world, but for the price can't complain!

They used the Samsung 870 as the replacement hard drive, and I could immediately tell the difference. Loading speed is super fast!

These worked great -- about the cost of spinning disks but much faster. I used the free Samsung Magician software to copy the old drives to these.

It used to take 4 minutes. Coming out of sleep mode is quick. It makes a big difference in the speed of the pc. You will need an adapter in order to hook it up to a USB port. Samsung has migration software that takes care of moving your current boot drive to the ssd.

I have Nitro 5 gaming laptop and since the first day the laptop was slow. After a couple of years the hard disk died so i did some research and bought this SSD. Wow! it changed the laptops performance like completely new laptop. My laptop is now very fast.
