This is the third 870 EVO I have added to my Dell desktop. Easy to install and maintain with the Samsung Magician software.

Great balance of speed, reliability, and capacity. Setup/Installation was easy enough and the product operates as advertised.

Best upgrade your computer can get. It’s not overly expensive and the impact is amazing. I put this in a 4 year old HP Envy x360 during an install of a new CPU fan and heatsink. For a little over a hundred bucks it’s a completely different PC now. FAST! Boots fast and is on par with most gaming machines. And Samsung is among the very best in build quality and performance. I have built many PCs over the years and can say with firm conviction Samsung builds quality. As with anything you will see a bad review here and there. Don’t be fooled. This is as close to guaranteed faultless as it gets.

Bought this for my PS4. So far, very good. It is fast, easy to install and has a TON of space. I made this upgrade instead of chasing a PS5.

Well my previous one lasted around 7 or so years and eventually decided to stop working otherwise its an ssd. It did ssd things I would obviously prefer it to have not broke but that is the life of electronics eventually they stop working and things get replaced. Simpke installation tho and little issues till it stopped working price was also good imo.

This is a fantastic hard drive with lots of space, and it works very fast! It was easy to install and it’s been working great so far! Installed on a Lenovo G50-70 with no issues.

SATA SSDs had their day as system drives, but now they are so cheap, it's awesome to use them as storage drives, too. The Samsung EVO lineup matches or exceeds hard drives MTBF ratings, so they are more reliable while also being much faster than mechanical drives. They are still great for upgrading older systems that are hampered by a slow mechanical drive, too. While this won't match a current NVMe drive on performance, it's still pretty fast.

My desktop is now running faster with my new Samsung SSD.

Easy install. Had a os-dead laptop and startup boot said it was the hdd. Bought this after checking specs and reviews. Got it, double checked size against area in laptop, no issues. Replaced the broken hdd with it. Then booted from usb (windows) and installed fresh onto it. Absolutely smooth transition. Definitely impressed, so went and bought another to replace desktop (still working hdd) just to have the wonderful extra speed (vs a non-ssd).

Worked perfectly! Easy install! 100% Worth it!!! I was recommended this product for my Nitro Acer 5 gaming laptop since it only came with 512 gigabytes installed. This added an insane amount of space and now I don’t have to worry about running out when installing games or saving large files! Would highly recommend!!!

Samsung 870 EVO 1 TB Internal SSD SATA hard drive was the fastest of any hard drive that I have ever owned, was remarkably cheap compared to other hard drives in the past and thanks to the Best Buy team for their knowledge and skills for recommending it to me, the;y were wonderfully hepful to me for helpinf me choosel

Fast, reliable and a great price. Glad to find the pricing on the brand I trust most in SSD's at a lower price now.
