Great drive

The drive is fast, it replaced a SATA drive, and now my system is back up and running better than before.

Recommend this Solid SSD

To prepare one of my PCs for Win11 and increase storage, I replaced my primary 256gb SSD with this 1TB SSD. Despite both are SSDs, I am stunned by the a difference in boot time and speed. I have found the Samsung brand to be super reliable.

Samsung EVO 870 1Tb is a whole lot of performance

It’s not overly expensive and the impact is amazing. I put this in a 4 year old HP Envy x360 during an install of a new CPU fan and heatsink. For a little over a hundred bucks it’s a completely different PC now. FAST! Boots fast and is on par with most gaming machines. And Samsung is among the very best in build quality and performance. I have built many PCs over the years and can say with firm conviction Samsung builds quality. As with anything you will see a bad review here and there. Don’t be fooled. This is as close to guaranteed faultless as it gets.

Upgrade went very smoothly thanks to the Samsung Magician Application. No issues so far with the product and the laptop no powers up in under 2 minutes compared to 15 minutes with HDD. Very pleased with the purchase.
