Fit right in my dell 5577 got 1800 r/w in standard mode Boot time was cut in half.

Samsung NVME M.2 are the pinnacle of reliability and speed. Not much more to say.

with the release of the plus series, look there first. but realistically you could buy whichever is cheaper and 99% of people could never tell the difference. at these speeds only benchmarking can tell. the pro line is awesome btw but is really poor value. straight luxury item. then again i guess once youre at sata ssd its all relative from there. rip mechanical boot drives.

I was definitely shocked on how fast this is and how easy it was to install

I installed ubuntu on this ssd, runs very smooth and quick. Copying large or small files is extremely fast, and much faster than a 7200 rpm hdd that I previously had, not to mention completely silent. I don't see much of a difference in user experience between this hdd and a SATA hdd, such as the 860 EVO, though in theory, it should be an order of magnitude faster.

Bought this for a new build and it has exceeded my expectations. My only regret is that I didn't get the 500g version since it is faster with the larger buffer but I can't complain about the performance and price of this version.

Samsung's M.2 SSDs are very well made drives, and it was easy for me to install into my Laptop as an additional drive to supplement the 1TB Mechanical. But what really made it so easy was the software. Samsung's cloning software is easy to use and fast, and the drive maintenance Magician makes it easy to know my drive health!

I accidentally ordered our work laptops with a regular 5400 RPM Hard Drive. The machine was constantly having disk IO problems so I bought this. Super easy to install, I didn't even have to take the old HDD out because this was an M.2 drive. After I reinstalled everything the machine was lighting fast and I've never once come close to even 50% disk IO.

Bought it to replace my 850 Evo SSD, you can notice the difference, booting time, processing time. It is fantastic for Video Edition. Match to my i7 CPU and 16GB. makes my computer extraordinary fast. You can't go wrong with Samsung SSDs. Be sure you have the right slot in your motherboard for this SSD, because it does not utse the regular SATA connector.

Its been a few years since I purchased this NVMe drive, but wanted to update it. It is still going strong as my boot drive only. It is extremely fast and works fantastic!

My original factory hard drive suddenly quit working (2 weeks after the warranty expired :( so I took the acer into the Geek Squad. After determining the issue, the guys recommended SSD (only $100), installed it quickly and got me operational in less than 24 hours. Hopefully this SSD will outlast the original. Great service at BB.

Purchased this for a new laptop, Dell - Inspiron 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - AMD Ryzen 5 - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive - Platinum Silver. The hard drive that came with it was terribly slow. After installing this one and cloning it via Samsung's software, the laptop performed so much better. Great product!

Bought mine quite a bit back and would love to have another but the newer ones have the PLUS moniker in the name. I’m sure they are better but the one reviewed her work best with the setup I have now OS/Hardware wise. Still going strong though.

I installed the ssd into my laptop that primarily has a 1tb hard drive and it was not difficult at all. Thankfully my laptop came with an ssd slot and since then I have not had any issues. Laptop boots up fast and I really do enjoy it.
