I purchased this as a secondary hard drive for my laptop and installed games on it and noticed the loading speed improvement right away! The Samsung magician software that supports the drive is helpful too. Note to those who buy it: once installed, it needs to be partitioned in order to appear in the My Computer screen and be usable. Plenty of Youtube videos out there on how to do this.

It does not disappoint there. If you're not buying this for the speed, then there are other SSDs out there that are cheaper, even within Samsung's own product line. If you're having trouble detecting this drive as a boot drive, make sure you check out your BIOS settings to see if that option is enabled.

Good for my Boot Drive
