I am ready to use this in my PS5. I got it while on sale otherwise very expensive tech. Great for expansion storage for the PS5 . There is literally no drop off from the factory internal ssd.

Replaced a 500gig PCIe Gen 3 with this into a Gen 4 capable board. Noticed speed increase. Cloned old drive using Samsung migration software. Very Easy.

Lightning fast, does get hot, but that was to be expected for the read speed and write speed of this 4.0 drive. I also bought a 2 TB of this product and so far it's been pretty amazing!

I have 2-SSDs and this one is dedicated to games. I haven’t had any issue with it for the last year, very robust performance. I’ve only used Samsung and WD SSDs, and I don’t notice a difference between performance on either. Both brands work in harmony, unlike RAM where you want the specs to be identical. One of my older builds has a 500GB Samsung SSD. It has to be 7 or 8 years old now and still works like new. It was such a good experience that I’m not interested in buying cheaper brands, I think you get what you pay for.

Excellent m.2 with incredible speed. This gets 700+ transfer speed which is about twice as fast as the samsung evo + which is also a great m.2 but with the pricing of the pro now it's a great value.

Great poduct i have 3 in my pc and also have one in my PlayStation very fast and reliable recommend to everyone.

Installation was easy, much faster than my older SSD and when paired with the Samsung software you can monitor its temperatures and keep its firmware up to date.

Samsung produced great products, but the PCIe Gen 4 technology is outstanding. Fast read and write speeds, easy to install and it doesn't run hot.

Very happy with the drive, second of this model I've purchased, first one was bought several months ago. Using this in an external case for booting Linux live from USB and it works great.

X-Plane Flight Simulator used to take several minutes to load using a gen 3 nvme drive. Now it takes about 30 - 40 seconds. Samsung Magician measures the speed at 7,124 mb/s. Crystal Mark measures it at 6,720 mb/s, typical of other speed tests from other users. I was going to buy a Sabrent, but decided not to due to firmware issues and poor customer service. The Western Digital was considered, but they run too hot from what I have read. With a heatsink installed, the drive runs at 39 degrees cent. while doing word processing. Just make sure your motherboard can handle a Gen4 drive. I'm using a Ryzen 9 3900XT with X570 chipset.

This is a great ssd. 1 terabyte is a lot of space to store games and it loads them really fast.
