I have two of the 1TB 980Pro ssd’ son my PC. Samsung is definitely the gold standard when it comes to storage. They are expensive but well worth it if you want blazing fast read/write speeds. If your motherboard doesn’t have a heatsink I would recommend getting one. These bad boys can get hot when moving large chunks of data on them. Games load fast but that’s pretty much and ssd. I would certainly recommend this drive! This is the best SSD I have ever owned.

These m2 drives are incredibly fast and unbelievably easy to install.

This particular NVMe has been my go-to since I bought some compatible laptops. Using Samsung Magician to clone the old SSD to this one was easy! It was ten times better than the program Crucial uses. Additionally, this SSD is fast! I get 6,577 MB/s sequential speed as of my last check. Definitely consider this SSD... you will not regret it!

Bought this Samsung 980 Pro for my wife's new computer build. She has only had it up and running for a few days, but, is very impressed. As this M.2 SSD attaches right to the board the transfer rate is fantastic. It is mounted to an MSI B550 Tomahawk motherboard. My wife can't get over the speed difference from her old computer. Yes, it was built about 7 years ago, on an FX6300 platform, but she doesn't care. It wows her.

Made me nervous at 1st because I wasn't sure if it was working. MAKE SURE YOU HEAR A *click* when you push it in, otherwise it won't register. Ez VERY FAST. I play sims 4 with over 30gb worth of mods and woo boi. this is a big change in speak. my games loads up in less than 30 seconds. I LOVEEEE IT. i did get it on sale but it still felt kinda expensive to me. oh well. WORTHHHH

Overall, excellent. I have had some problems lately with Samsung drives on my Mac. Not sure what the issue is, but sometimes the drive will just disappear. I would just have to reconnect and pops back up again. Overall great speed and great space.

Its everything you would expect from a bleeding edge NVMe 4.0 drive. I upgraded from an older SATA M.2 and wasnt expecting much of a difference but i was pleasantly suprised. Boot times of my conputer are noticeably quicker and running games off of the frive is much snappier. I feel like my computer is as pleased as I am!

Low heat, easy to install, very fast... made my Windows 10 system boot very quickly.

Really fast drive. PCIe Gen 4 speeds are awesome, and prices have become much more reasonable.

I had a 1TB SSD Sabrent Rocket NVMe High Performance 4.0 die on me 8 months after installing it. Luckily all I had on it was my OS, still it was a new build and a pain to reinstall everything. While I was waiting for the long process (3+ weeks) to get it replaced I got this 980Pro. So far no random BSD's or any of the weird glitches I was having. This SSD seems as fast and I wish I would have just used it from the start! The price was great too!
