Picked this up to throw in my PC. Ive had faster SSD in the past and i hardly notice the difference between top read/write and this equipment. Picked up for a steal and it does the job, im happy!

Another beauty of internal SSD’s. This ssd helped me build my first PC and was the backbone to it. It’s quick, and never ruined my PC.

I'll start by saying this SSD NVMe is one of the fastest storage drive you can buy in the market. It has been a nice upgrade over my Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD NVMe. The Samsung 980 Pro will be a great future proof product when Microsoft releases Windows 11 and their new DirectStorage for PC. Loading times will be a thing of the past!

My old SSD hard drive died, and I found a great price match on the 980, and I’m glad I did. My gaming computer somehow runs even faster than before. A terabyte of data is also pretty solid for storing games, apps, and everything else I need. Always remember, though, back up your drive!

The 1TB capacity provides ample space for all my files, applications, and games. It’s perfect for anyone needing extensive storage without compromising on speed.

I usually keep my posts short and sweet. Years ago I purchased as small ssd to use as my boot drive. It was a 126 GB size. In the past couple of years I added one Samsung Pro SSD 1 TB and then another SSD at 2 TB. I could have just transferred my boot and OS over to, lets say the 2 TB SSD but still wanted a stand alone SSD for booting the OS, Bios, etc. and not on my storage drives. I elected to add this to my 9 month old CPU/Motherboard. This motherboard had one M2 slot for the fastest functioning startup that you could have. Since I subscribe to the yearly geeksquad membership the install was included in my membership. The swap and install was seemless but took about 2.5 hours for the complete job. Turning on the computer now take 6-10 seconds to the password screen!!! I used to take almost 45 senonds which I consider a big difference. Other functions like my Microsoft Office Programs were installed on the former boot drive and were transferred there too. Almost instant opening of office too. Well worth it and Geeksquad made it a pleasure with the install.

Samsung makes a solid drive. They are reliable and fast.

Samsung pro980 was specifically bought for my Sony ps5 game system. It was an easy installation i definitely would recommend a single or double side heat sink after installation just follow on screen promts to format memory stick. Definitely would recommend this memory stick its fast and works well with the ps5.

I would say that the Samsung 980 pro SSD m.2 is an excellent SSD drive, it has a good support from the Samsung corporation; all ways therefore, I trust its performance 100%.

So easy to put in my PS5 and it works flawlessly, definitely recommend for extra storage on the PS5.

Great SSD drive. I've had this drive for almost a year now and it runs like a champ. It doesn't have a built in heat sink but thats what I needed because my motherboard has one built in for this slot. Very fast.

Samsung is a great and reliable product. I still prefer Crucial, they were first and they are a little cheaper. Nonetheless, I use these products too. They don't need to be the fastest generation of the product.

Excellent PCIe Gen 4 Drive from Samsung. Reads and writes are as advertised and sometimes better, and it is perfect for me as I use it for video editing. However, the price is a bit steep at $220 for 1TB, as you can get a somewhat equivalent Sabrent 1Tb gen 4 drive for around $160. It may be more worth it if it goes on sale in the future.

Fast read and write speed performance for any works. Samsung did an excellent job and happy to buy and use.
