It is being used as a Windows boot drive for the AMD Ryzen 9 5950x and it took less than 20 seconds to boot to the desktop.

The process of cloning the current drive was fairly quick. But you do need an external enclosure that can connect via usb c. Make sure to pick up a good enclosure from a reliable place.

My desktop boots up extremely fast and I see very little, if any, latency when opening files on the drive or running programs installed on it.

They simply can't be beat for quality, longevity and performance. I am more than happy putting this in my new build as my OS drive knowing I will have worry free performance.

I have it linked to an external enclosure thunderbolt by CDW and until there's something faster in it's price range, I'm going with these for my external SSDs

Samsung SSDs are very solid and I’ve never had a problem installing or using thrm.

My testing shows that it reads 7000M/s and is ultra fast for gaming. Actually it is an overkill for gaming. You may save some money by going 980 or 970. But this product is amazing.
