Works great for PS5 expanded storage! Adds much needed high speed storage. Suggest grabbing the new Sabrent PS5 storage bay heat sink/cover, but any M.2 heatsink that will fit in the PS5 will be needed to avoid excess heat for this drive.

Bought this for a new Ryzen computer build, with an M.2 slot. Compared to older SSD drives I've used, this is screaming fast. Files transfer super fast, and updates don't drag on forever.

It serves its purpose perfectly and installation went through with no issues. Shipping was relatively fast. It’s also extremely high quality in terms of SSDs.

This purchase rose an eyebrow from my buddy, who accompanied me along. For the price, this is a phenomenal purchase. It is QUICK, and I should be able to utilize its space for the foreseeable future. If it fits your budget, I highly recommend.

Works great but the most impressive thing was transferring everything from my old drive to the 980 Pro. Old drive was 970 evo 500 gig and this new one is 980 Pro 1TB. Took about 20 minutes at most. Very fast simple process when using Samsung's software.

I bought this to put into my ASUS Pro art studio book OLED 16 laptop to edit videos and photos . I have a 5 tb external drive but lets just say no one should edit off a regular HDD unless you don't have an option not to. This was easy to install, just dropped it in and its been working perfectly so far. I just wish I had purchased the 2 or 4 TB version instead.

Make sure your motherboard supports Gen. 4 to enjoy the full speed this drive is offers. If your motherboard doesn’t support gen 4, go with a cheaper drive. Also, at this level don’t get anything smaller than 1TB.

It does it's job well. Over the past 5 or so years I've purchased a handful of Samsung Pro SSD's and one Samsung EVO and not one of them have failed me to this day. The best of the best in my opinion.

The read/write rates on this NVMe drive is top tier! Currently using it as a boot drive and loads Windows incredibly fast. Installed games on the same drive and they load incredibly fast as well.

Excellent samsung product and happy that Best Buy has it in stock. Upgrade my PS5 hard drive and it work beautifully, no issue installing it. Brought my own heatsink alot cheaper than with the heatsink. No issue highly recommended.

Running four of these on two gaming computers with no problems. Makes my Dell server run way faster, and my sons gaming computer play smooth and fast.

Samsung makes some pretty quality products. The first one I had purchased did however have an issue. This will happen from time to time butover with how Samsung ran through troubleshooting and Bestbuy with the exchange I could not recommend this enough. After finally getting it installed again and reimaging my machine, this thing is blazing fast. My fastest boot time was recorded at 2 seconds from os load to login. Impressive to say the least.

Super fast. Probably overkill for my build, but wanted PCI 4.0 since my motherboard supports it. Make sure your motherboard supports the faster speeds, otherwise you will bottleneck the SSD.
