have been using Samsung SSDs since SSDs became mainstream and have been happy with their performance. This one is no different, most people are not aware that upgrading to an SSD can be felt during daily use.

Super fast. Just make sure your m.2 slot is PCIE 4.0 enabled to get the most benefit. The WD SN850 is faster for short bursts of write/reading but the 980 PRO is better for sustained reading/writing because it has MUCH better thermal properties. It won't thermal throttle.

so quick! transfers date in a snap, and comes with the quality you can expect with a samsung drive. theres a reason why samsung is the leader in ssd storage. their software like the genie is awesome and their support is helpful. very satisfied with my purchase.

very fast and has lasted me a very long time. i dont see any issues in the future and able to download games at extremely fast rate and OS stil works like its a fresh install.

i got this to upgrade my laptop back to its original specs as it had the OEM variant that had a unknown failure this restored my laptops true maximum speed

This Gen4 M.2 SSD is super fast. I just put it in my new Ryzen 5900x build and I can get loaded to Windows Startup Login Screen in about 10 seconds. It's unreal how fast this drive is. I love it. Anyone looking for a fast M.2 SSD this is the one to get.

Great price and amazing performance! I went with the PRO over an EVO because I needed better load handling since it is in an audio production rig that will see LOTS of reads and writes over the coming years.

Hands down the fastest hard drive ive ever had. Internet will possible never even keep up with how fast the downloads could go on this drive. I shouldve gotten the 2TB lol.

It serves its purpose perfectly and installation went through with no issues. Shipping was relatively fast. It’s also extremely high quality in terms of SSDs.

I bought this to put into my ASUS Pro art studio book OLED 16 laptop to edit videos and photos . I have a 5 tb external drive but lets just say no one should edit off a regular HDD unless you don't have an option not to. This was easy to install, just dropped it in and its been working perfectly so far. I just wish I had purchased the 2 or 4 TB version instead.

First nvme hard drive. The performance is only slightly better than an SSD but the form factor is much more convenient. Not having to run sata cables and mess with the drive bay is nice. Makes for a much cleaner build.

Adding this with my existing Samsung 970 EVO Pro drives. This thing is so fast compared to them. This one is double the speed. It has been a great addition to my gaming rig

Bought this SSD PCIe for a build I was putting together. The specs were just what I needed for my powerful two-system PC build. I bought four of them for my two motherboards that are in my 1000d corsair case.

Super easy to install. Haven’t had any issues besides one game not working. Heat sink not included!

Now that PS5 allows SSD expantions, this works like a dream and gives me much more space to store PS5 games. The only real downside to the card is that it doesn't come with a heatsink and PS5 recommends that you put a heat sink on any upgrade SSD.

When in easy and installed easy, it also came with an additional M2 screw that previous versions of this drive did not provide for free.

Works great and I got no regrets for getting this thing. Best budget ssd you can get from Best Buy
