Both are lightning fast. Happy with my purchase. Id never used this type of drive before so there was a small learning curve to installing it but a quick YouTube video took care of that.

Fast SSD

I bought this as it was the newest Samsung NVME SSD and they have significantly dropped in price. Great quality for the money and I love Samsung products. I have multiple 980 and 970 SSDs

Great price for a great SSD

Anyway, super easy to plug and play. I have never installed memory before and a quick YouTube video got me where I needed to be in order to install this. Fantastic deal for the price

Adds much needed high speed storage. Suggest grabbing the new Sabrent PS5 storage bay heat sink/cover, but any M.2 heatsink that will fit in the PS5 will be needed to avoid excess heat for this drive.

Currently using it as a boot drive and loads Windows incredibly fast. Installed games on the same drive and they load incredibly fast as well.

Great speeds and capacity

The first one I had purchased did however have an issue. This will happen from time to time butover with how Samsung ran through troubleshooting and Bestbuy with the exchange I could not recommend this enough. After finally getting it installed again and reimaging my machine, this thing is blazing fast. My fastest boot time was recorded at 2 seconds from os load to login. Impressive to say the least.

Good SSD

Probably overkill for my build, but wanted PCI 4.0 since my motherboard supports it. Make sure your motherboard supports the faster speeds, otherwise you will bottleneck the SSD.

Not all SSD are created equal

If your motherboard doesn’t support gen 4, go with a cheaper drive. Also, at this level don’t get anything smaller than 1TB.
