The SAMSUNG 980 PRO is the fastest SSD I’ve ever owned. My PC loads up extremely fast. Gaming is a breeze with lighting fast start up times and quick fast traveling.

Not really sure what to say about this, it's been over a year now, no issues, still ticking along and fast as it ever was.

The advertised speed is 7,000mb but when I formatted it in my PS5 it shows speed of 5,700mb. Online research has a few explanations such as a need to update it in a PC first because it was designed prior to the PS5 release. As a result, the advertised 'peak' speed and actual running speed are slightly different. Important takeaway is it meets the minimum requirements of 5,500mb that Sony requires to run on a PS5. If you are looking for bulk storage at a decent price it will do the job.

Very fast. I cloned my OS onto this NVMe from Samsung 970 Evo Pro 500gb to 1TB, I am glad I went with 980 Pro, I can actually tell the difference and even three Star Citizen on there and loads fast. I highly recommend upgrading to this NVMe.

Awesome ssd, old one that i bought corrupted my windows install every month and replacing my old ssd with this one fixed the issue.

The Samsung 980 Pros are so far the best m.2 2280s i have used. I still think they are too expensive for the 1tb cards. A fair price for them would be $120.00. Wait for them to go back on sale.

Great upgrade to an old and failing SATA SSD, works great and has made my boot speeds much faster. Super easy to install if your motherboard supports NVME.

best nvme drive you can get for the ps5. Just be sure to buy a heat-sink for it because it does not come with one. Easy install and quick to format get going. Now no longer have to worry about running out of space on my PS5

Didn't let me down ... Needed a little more space and speeds are awesome. Wouldn't steer you in the wrong Direction make sure your m.2 slots are pcie 4.0 compatible or else look for something cheaper and save a couple bucks.

You don't go wrong with Samsung NVME, have used 960, 970 & now 980 with 4x4 getting the speeds as stated and really happy with the purchase and the discount of Black Friday.

Build quality is great. The temps are well within tolerant ranges while performing multitasking and uploading/downloading files or images. Price is higher than some but performance is what your paying for.

I have about 10 of these drives in different sizes and in various builds, they do exactly what they need to and they never go bad.

A sensible hard drive solution for any PC upgrade person it's not the top of the line but it gets the job done just as well for a reasonable price
