Installed as a win 10 boot drive on a high-end system with PCIe Gen 4 bus. As expected, this drive is very fast with corresponding low boot times.

Works perfectly, very fast boot drive, employees were very helpful with the purchase process and finding what I need.

Purchased to house my operation software on a new computer build. No issues and very fast boot.

Received with up-to-date firmware so no need to update it yourself with samsung magician. Most recent slc bug has been revised with newest firmware. Fast drive and gets around to be 40 C to 45 C when in use with a heat sink.

Easy install, no issues, was able to copy my windows from another drive tk this and have more space like nothing happened.

Its an m.2 nvme ssd and made by samsung, so its pretty much the standard these days if im not mistaken. Would recommend over the firecuda or wd any day.

Excellent product, almost plug and play. Very, very fast. Load times on games more than cut in half from previous ssd.

Works really well like you would assume was much faster than the ssd I had before it.

You don't go wrong with Samsung NVME, have used 960, 970 & now 980 with 4x4 getting the speeds as stated and really happy with the purchase and the discount of Black Friday.

Super fast ssd, a bit daster than one of the more economical options i had, and still comparable to more expensive options.

Does what you expect it to do and does it fast. It’s expected for the price you pay but worth it in the long run. That said most people would probably not need to pay the premium for this and could go for a cheaper Gen 3 NVME drive.

The Samsung 980 Pros are so far the best m.2 2280s i have used. I still think they are too expensive for the 1tb cards. A fair price for them would be $120.00. Wait for them to go back on sale.

Great Ssd for gaming and downloads It loads games very fast and my downloads have never been faster this is virtually a must have in gamers setups

The advertised speed is 7,000mb but when I formatted it in my PS5 it shows speed of 5,700mb. Online research has a few explanations such as a need to update it in a PC first because it was designed prior to the PS5 release. As a result, the advertised 'peak' speed and actual running speed are slightly different. Important takeaway is it meets the minimum requirements of 5,500mb that Sony requires to run on a PS5. If you are looking for bulk storage at a decent price it will do the job.

I been a fan of Samsung SSDs for many years, and there new NVME SSDs are truly the fastest ones on the market, If your building a new system and it has PCIE 4.0, I highly recommend this NVME SSD due to its fast read and write speeds.

You dont need the 990 unless it gets an upgrade to pci express 5.0 just get this product oerfect for loading gta 5 and i was transfering at 3gbps between ssds mvne 980

If you dont mind paying the price, i would definitely recommend. There are cheaper options out there but the read speeds for this one at 1tb is not a bad deal. I would recommend

Very fast. I cloned my OS onto this NVMe from Samsung 970 Evo Pro 500gb to 1TB, I am glad I went with 980 Pro, I can actually tell the difference and even three Star Citizen on there and loads fast. I highly recommend upgrading to this NVMe.
