    I put 2 of these into a x4 adapter with 2 other nVME drives and they work great. Make sure they stay cool for max performance.

    It's a solid NVMe and performs only marginally slower than the 990 pro, most people would never know the difference of 450Mb/s read speed in most tasks. Just make sure to update the firmware when you buy it, especially 2TB models, there were issues going around with the cards wearing out quickly on bad firmware that some had shipped with.
