They are fast, reliable, and terrific software for testing/updates. If you are looking for a fantastic nvme drive, this is it. If you want a slight speed up, you may want to look at the new 990pro.

I thought it was pretty fast but then tried out the Seagate Firecuda 530 and that’s 1000MB/S faster on my PS5. Plus this Samsung needs a heatsink. Other then these issues it’s a solid SSD. It’s still faster then the current internal PS5 SSD.

Personally have not noticed a difference with applications. I do not store games or high intense apps on the hard drive. I was expecting faster boot up times. Office 365 apps do feel like they open faster. But that could be due to my CPU 5900x or my 3090 GPU.

Bought it when it was on sale... Zero issues installing it on the board and no issues with it being recognized by the computer, used Samsung data migration software.
