Working fantastic as my boot drive for my OS with plenty of space leftover for my new build. Will be buying a second. Samsung magician software is simple and easy management tool for updates. Cost a few more dollars than WD alternative but well worth the few dollars for peace of mind.

This product was a fantastic value SSD. It was surprisingly easy for me to install, even with minimal experience. It performs great with my PS5. I would recommend this for anyone looking to add on to their consoles.

Easy to install if you know what you're doing, amazing speeds, plenty of space for whatever game you may think of that isn't a call of duty, but will fit those games on there with no problem

Pros: - Speed - Unlikely to ever fail - Warranty Cons: - May run hot - make sure to cool it appropriately (probably not the best choice for hot laptop chassis) - Needs pcie 4.0 (again, excludes most laptops) - Relatively expensive

I use this to hold windows and a handful of games. It’s very quick with read and writes. Games don’t tend long to load at all. It’s a Samsung pro shicg is the best SSD on the market so you’re going to pay a premium for this drive but it’s well worth every penny. They usually go on sale after two years from release so if you’re a patient you can get one without breaking the bank. If I had a newer Z790 motherboard I would buy the 500gb version for Windows solely and a 1tb solely for games. It’s good to keep them separated in case one drive fails. (You can and should put windows backups on the gaming drive as well as mechanical spinner HDD drives. ) Samsung Magician is great software too so utilize it. Would I recommend this drive? Yes. Would I buy again? Always.

fast and reliable... do I need to say anything else? not a hardcode gamer here but whenever I play I play red dead redemption 2 which is a seriously big and heavy game and it really feels smooth thanks to this fast SSD If you're considering this one or the 990 pro... just consider the 990 is well known for being not realiable so, just a slightly slower SSD in exchange for realibility at a cheaper price, it's a no brainer for me

Where were my endless volumes of texture packs going to live? Thats why i got with the times and built a machine with some power, with this baddie as its core storage. Now, im designing and gaming with ease.

The drive is fast and cheap. I had my drive for the passed few years and I have had zero issues. Not to mention the faft that its getting every cheaper.

Fast!!! Gen 4X4, what's not to like! Worked well in my MSI AMD build. Runs a little hotter than I am used to so I installed the heatsink that came with the motherboard and also redirected a fan card to blow on it. Nice and cool.

This ssd is fast and reliable. I have used it for several years and it has never failed me. It is fast and easy to instal.

At first I had decided to wait on my next build but the hardware problems that I started encountering with my old motherboard made me decide otherwise. So out with the old and in with the new. I had been using a Samsung solid state drive up until now so I made the decision to upgrade to this 1 TB Gen 4 PCIe stick. The difference in performance and reliability of the 980 PRO when compared to a solid state drive is out of this world. The download and even the reading speeds are remarkable. If you pair this with the right processor and memory you're set for life.

Updated my new MSI gaming PC with the Samsung 980 Pro 1TB to get the most from my gen 4 Z590 motherboard, as it came stock with gen 3. Seems fast and reliable with no installation issues. I added an SSD cooler to help keep the temps down with peak temps right around 50C which is excellent. Samsung is known for it's reliability and is the one reason I bought it over the WD version. I do believe the 2TB version provides slightly faster performance but 1TB is more than enough storage on my C: drive. For some reason I couldn't get Samsung's migration to work for me, so I used the free version of Macrium software to migrate my files to the new drive. I've used the Samsung software in the past with no issues, but not this time.

It is very easy to install, it does not get hot, it has good writing and reading speeds, it is worth the purchase.

The drive works perfectly and is very fast. I installed it in a Dell 7600 2-in-1 laptop.

I loaded this up with some of the most graphically detailed games and have no qualms what so ever with this addition to my system layout. CPU, and Graphics Card are a major part of the equation but if you want a truly flawless experience you're definitely going to need an NVMe drive like this thats quick with load times. Make sure your motherboard can truly support PCI-e 4.0 and you will definitely want to get a heat sink for this as it gets very hot. Astonishing speed.

Fast and well worth the cost. I added it to my new Digital Storm rig for more storage. Easy to install and what else can you say Samsung is the best.
