It works with either PCIe 3.0 or 4.0. However, you won't get the best bang for the buck unless you have a mobo that has PCIe 4.0. Unfortunately, Intel based mobo's don't support it yet. But, if you're interested in future proofing your system, this is the product to get.

So the moment you get them, make sure you update the firmware. Otherwise they are great. I had two lock me out. Just update your firmware
