Solid drive for a great price

Very fast and reliable

However, if your mb doesn't you should save a few bucks and buy a PCIe 3.0 version (Evo 970 series). The Samsung Magician software is very good, as is their excellent data/boot drive migration tool.

Works with HP Laptops!

M.2 Drive

Great for ps5 expansion

Almost no noticeable difference to the internal drive imo. Installed with a "be quiet" m2 cooler and everything was a breeze from formatting to transferring games over it has all been so simple and fast!

Super fast & reliable

Super fast in both read & write, and PC boots in seconds. Just remember to separate your system & storage drive(s) so you don't bog down the system drive with needless startup apps. The only other drive I have in my current build is a Samsung 970 evo for storage, and the difference in speed is impossible to tell without formal benchmarks. Either way, definitely faster than sata drives.

I do not regret the purchase. The price might have been a bit steep but compared to another option I had, I believe it was worth it. The speeds are nice.
