My microcenter branded m.2 ssd storage died while still under warranty. Microcenter wants me to bring my whole custom rig with the microcenter branded m.2 installed. to diagnose a dying m.2, when I already diagnosed it. I ended up biting the bullet with buying a Samsung m.2 and don't regret the purchase

Bought this to add another 2TB to my gaming PC. Games load up as fast as they possibly could. Highly recommend especially if you are playing larger games or want to use it as a boot drive. I have a smaller size for the boot drive and Windows boots up quick. Bought this before the prices went up, but $300+ for this is a bit too much.

Used it for my PS5. Recognized it right away and the console stated a read speed of 6200MB/s. So pretty satisfied!

Got this bad boy for my M4 Mac Mini and it is great, beyond great. Got me a TB4 enclosure to use it in and the read and write speeds are better than the base Mini. Samsung again has made a great drive. Now if you are going to be transferring more than 10% of the drive’s capacity in files you will see a noticeable drop in speed and if that is something important for you then go with WD

Great for laptop w limited storage. Pro tip. I had a 1tb ssd in my laptop and the 2tb ssd was installed. The 2tb ssd would read in the bios but not in the storage manager. I couldn’t figure this out for hours. I ended up swapping the 1tb and 2tb stick. For some reason they both read when I just swapped their slots. The laptop was a zephyrs m16 4070, i9. Something like that.
