    I purchased Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB SSD to use with Thunderbolt 4 enclosure as an external storage for a new M4 Mac mini from Apple. Two weeks of use demonstrated no surprises in terms of speed and compatibility. Even under high load SSD stays reasonably cool. Performance tests consistently show about the same speed of external and internal storage. Everything is working exactly as expected. Highly recommended.

    I bouught two of these to build a Raspberry Pi 5 home LLM, the ONLY issue is trying to format them through a GUI, you need to download the app to set the password and flash them. I did it through the CLI to bypass it. They run great, no lag.
