    It's a Samsung SSD. As long as you have Samsung Magician installed, you're good. Compared of a Samsung 980 Pro or 990 Pro, this won't be quite as fast, but it will run a lot cooler which means you won't necessarily need a heat sink like you do with those faster drives. It doesn't hurt to have one though. Performance is solid. In a Gigabyte X870 Eagle, it's running 6800MBps reads and 4700MBps writes in a PCI-e 4.0 NVMe slot. This should be fast enough for the PS5 people who need a NVMe drive. Just make sure your firmware is up to date and you're good.

    I put this into my first pc and it works amazingly. I havent had any issues with downloading or transferring files, and the only bottle neck I have is my own wifi. For my pc this works great and I am thinking about getting even more.

    For the price and storage capacity a great deal, 2TB for $130 and fast speeds. I've been booting my OS off a 256 sata drive and I do feel the difference booting off this drive! I cloned my other ssd onto this one and kept all files

    I bouught two of these to build a Raspberry Pi 5 home LLM, the ONLY issue is trying to format them through a GUI, you need to download the app to set the password and flash them. I did it through the CLI to bypass it. They run great, no lag.

    I have always been a fan of samsung ssd drives and never reslly had any issues with them. (Knock on wood) lol. But i also love the ssd drives software that Samsung provides with it. And for that i give a 5 star.
