Great storage devise fast and easy to install enough room to store many games or pictures or videos.

I also bought an Insignia M.2 NVMe to USB-C SSD enclosure for the Samsung 990 EVO Plus SSD 2T to do backups. The installation of the SSD and the SSD enclosure was very easy. Previously, I had upgraded my HHD to the same Samsung SSD EVO Plus SSD 2TB. The backups go very fast and so far no issues. Very happy too!!

This beautiful piece of technology went into an m.4 slot in my computer, and the rest was history! Faster laod times, much more storage than just a single terabyte, and it mounted neatly to my motherboard. What's not to love? AND! It's at least 10 dollars cheaper in store as of writing this review than ordering it via amazon and paying for shipping, so that is a big win in my book. Way to go Best Buy!

Installation was quick and simple, and my system booted up noticeably faster right away. It’s perfect for gaming or everyday use, with fast read/write speeds and reliable performance. Decently fast, get the Pro version if you want top speeds. Samsung knows what they're doing with these drives, which is why they stay in the top end for performance and reliability. Installed Windows from USB3 stick in about 5 minutes. Not all NVME's are made the same and I am lucky I found a USB3 stick that actually performs anywhere near USB3 speeds, but I was shocked it went so fast. I had a 970 Evo in my previous build for 5-6 years and never had any problems so expecting the same reliability.

I have used this drive for about 6 months and have zero issues! I have used it in multiple systems and even closed a whole C: drive to it. The heatsink was very impressive in preventing thermal throttling. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to buy a 2TB SSD!

When it come to straight to it. What can you go wrong when choosing this sucker of a ssd! Fast, efficient and easy to install. Speeds compete with similar prices but it is well put together! EVO!

Good storage nvme with plenty of storage and very fast write speeds.

I bought this in store on sale. I put in my friends PC for him. It works great, and the boot times are quick. Cant go wrong with a Samsung SSD.

So, I called a local computer/phone repair place about upgrading my Lenovo Thinkpad laptop hard drive. After they quoted me $179 labor BUT highly recommended the Samsung 990 Evo Plus, I decided to do it myself. It could not have been easier. I kept my primary drive and use this as my secondary drive. I watched a short YT video and pulled the bottom off my laptop, slid this hard drive into the slot, screwed it down, put the bottom back on, fired up the computer, used disk management to format the new drive and it's working better than I could have hoped! And buying it from BB was EASY PEASY, since it was the SAME price as Amazon, I ordered it for delivery and got it the SAME day, not 2(or more) days later. BB seems to be doing so much better at matching Amazon prices and being able to have the item the same day is GREAT! Now, I check BB BEFORE I make an Amazon purchase.

Decided to upgrade my computer finally with a bunch of new parts. Got this SSD to replace my old reliable 2TB Samsung 960 Pro. So far, this 2TB 990 EVO Plus SSD has been working amazing. Everything is lightning fast now. Also, way faster than the 960 Pro, which of course is due to the age, but still amazing to see the speed differences.

So far so good! Haven’t had any issues installing it or using it on my PC

Bought an Alienware Aurora R16 from BB and wanted to add a secondary storage drive like the setup I have on the system it's replacing. This Samsung is perfect for me. It's fast, has enough open space to last me a couple of years (at least), and was super easy to install. And it was on sale just when I needed it to be!

Super fast and reliable! Have not had any issues with speed and no overheating issues. Works great in my HP Omen Laptop
