The plastic pre-wash basket is ridiculous. It sticks way out and is in the way of pouring detergent into the detergent drawer. It's also quite flimsy. A serious design flaw. Unless you do a lot of hand washing, I would skip a machine with this feature. I'm exchanging it ASAP.

I so looked forward to this purchase for our new washer and dryer. Now that we have had it for a little bit its still as amazing as I thought it was during the first wash.

I loved this machine. Reviews were great. I finally got my machine - so disappointed. Clothes are completely wrinkled and everything HAS TO BE IRONED! So hard to change settings - even when I change to cold water everything comes out hot! I don't know what to do so I am returning this Wash Machine!

Bought this machine on Black Friday weekend 2015. Noticed inferior performance as compared to my old Maytag Neptune frontloader almost immediately. Thought getting more familiar with the settings would help. Wrong. - white socks never come clean. - the machine constantly unbalances and can take up to two hours of extra cycling (and multiple manual interventions) to complete the cycle. - the machine is not energy efficient and my electric bills have doubled since I bought this washer dryer pair. I read all the reviews beforehand. Never had a samsung, and never will again. Happy to leave this behind when I sell my house.

I had been wanting the samsung top loader for a year. after the flood we had to purchase all new appliances, we decided to go with samsung, as we liked their look and price, and knew they were fairly popular brand. Best Buy was great, however. we just got the samsung toploader recall. they were not willing to work with us AT ALL.. even though the website says there is two options, one being someone will come and repair (which is what we wanted) or you can get a rebate, they refused to send someone out, even after i asked for a supervisor. i am so upset about this, i do not have the time to return 5 new samsung appliances, or the extra money to WAIT FOR A REBATE... my house was flooded!!!!! poor customer service and all around not a good company to deal with. read the reviews on samsungs website before purchasing ANY of their products, apparently im not the only one having issues with this.

Stay away, I don't have enough bad things to say about this unit and the matching dryer. Unit was recalled, took a month to get a new one and an extra $200. Unit has been serviced 2 times totally more than I paid for the unit. When unit is functioning, it cleans big loads great. Save the trouble an go with another brand that is more reliable and has better support.

I gave up my perfectly good top load, agitating wash machine and dryer for this laundry pair. I have never been so disappointed in a product in my life! My laundry comes out with big blotches of laundry soap and fabric softener stains on them. I tried everything, less product, different settings. Finally watched this thing go through a cycle. The water doesn't even cover the laundry. The laundry "moves back and forth" and the same stuff that was on top is still on top at the end of the washing.... it doesn't do anything but make the clothes wet and stained. My skin has not stopped itching since I got this stupid thing and invested almost a thousand dollars in it. Incidentally the dryer is fantastic. So now what do I do? Sigh..... Anyone else having these issues? If so, what can I do?

This washing machine has been a complete nightmare since day one. Most of the settings are not effective, one of which when washing bulky items, not enough water. Barely got clean at all. This unit went through a draining pump in less than three years, on the biggest issue was, it completely rusted the inside compartment top so that particles of rust was ending up in the wash water. I had bought several Samsung items at the same time and all have issues. Run from Samsung, their phone support is just as bad. Oh forgot to mention out of balance most of the time during final spin.

I bought my washer on Jan 4th after my original washer was on recall five months later we are leaking from under the unit I called Samsung to have it serviced and they said there's no one in my area to fix it so they said to send in my receipt and they are going to decide on sending me a new unit or a check all I know is my next washer will be a speed Queen three year or a five year factory warranty depending on what model you get but its a made in the USA speed queen has better reviews

This thing slowly swooshes the clothes around, imagine putting your clothes in a bucket of water and gently stirring with wooden spoons. That is about the amount of force it uses, no matter what "deep clean" "steam clean" "aqua jet" BS setting you put it on. If you like to use all natural detergents well your clothes just aren't going to get clean with the gentle swooshes. Returning even though I will be sad not to have the awesome soak bin.

This is my second Samsung Washer....they are JUNK. First one was impacted by the recall, it wasn't that great, but since they offered me money for it, I decided to get this one (On sale luckily). The thing died in less than 6 months. Now, I'm trying to get Samsung out here to fix it. Just junk. Samsung washers/dryers have been nothing but trouble.

Very disappointed, water temp always incorrect, started to rust after 1 year...Support absolutely terrible...Definitely do not recommend..Samsung should stick to manufacturing tv's and phones..Leave the home appliances to the real pros..
