Glasses were not compatible with my "active" 3 D television. For p"passive tv's only. Please know the difference before your purchase, as you are not able to return glasses after the box has been opened. Rating only this low because I was unable to use the glasses!

Fantastic. Works with my Sony X850C!

I bought a SONY X850C and was shopping around the whole world wide web for the SONY glasses and couldn't find any in stock. Only option was to import from Japan via ebay. Then I decided to give this a try since this was RF compliant. Stuck a 3D blu ray into my PS4 and when the TV displayed to turn on my 3D glasses I did.. it registered and lo and behold, I was immersed in 3D. Worked without a glitch! I have read many internet forums where it wouldn't work for some people... If you are one of those, try the following, 1) Make sure the disc you are playing has the 3D logo in it. Don't explicitly make any 3D changes like "side by side" or "up and down" etc... When you have a 3D media the TV will tell you it has detected 3D. If you want to watch 3D clips from YouTube, get a passive 3D glasses. I am not sure that will work but give it a shot. 2) Update your TV firmware to the latest version. 3) Turn the TV off and turn on again and start the pairing process. I actually didn't have to take the glasses close to the TV set as per the instruction etc... Was comfortable seated in my couch and just pressed the pairing button on the glasses and it worked without a hitch! For 19 bucks and ready availability? You can't beat the value of these glasses and they are of excellent quality as well!

    3D glasses work amazing

I bought these glasses for my Sony tv because they were cheaper then the Sony brand and they work perfectly. Easy to assemble, easy to pair to 3D tv. Watched The Lorax in 3D and the glasses made it look amazing, looked like real 3D where it comes at you at times. Only bad points would be that it uses non-rechargeable batteries, the frame doesn't fold so that could break easily if you do not disassemble, and that when it is on the lenses go darker but I think all glasses do the same thing. Overall very pleased and just need more 3D movies.

    Good 3D Glasses

These glasses are good 3D glasses, and are comfortable on the head. I have had an older pair on before and they would feel twisted and uncomfortable, but these are great and I let someone with prescription glasses wear them over top and said they still fit good, plus they are cool looking around the room and everyone looks to have a nice pair of shades on. Lol Good product Samsung,

    Battery cost concern

The overall on these glasses is they work very well, and have minimal to no flicker effects, the 3d quality is amazing. These glasses work best during night time or if it's dark while your using them. The only bad thing I have to say about these glasses is, the batteries in the package for all 3 pairs I bought were half dead opening the package. After buying new full batteries, I watched 2 movies and the batteries are already dead. The glasses use cr1620 button batteries costing almost $10 for 2. So great glasses image quality is unreal, but expect to buy a lot of batteries of your a movie buff like my family. I'm using them with a 55" samsung 7500 curve.

These 3d glasses work just as good as the sony 3d glasses that came with my TV, but these are lighter, cheaper ($30 cheaper) and come with a cleaning rag! I actually prefer these over the glasses that came with the sony tv because they fit over my glasses easier. The sony glasses have a nose guard that you have to remove to wear over your glasses..... I can see this nose guard disappearing and never returning! They are a great value for what they do....oh and they come with an extra battery! NICE!

    Great glasses for individual purchase

My parents bought a 3D TV at Christmas time, which only came with 2 pairs of glasses, so when any more than 2 people want to watch a 3D movie, it doesn't work out. So my boyfriend and I went out and bought 2 pairs of these to keep at their house so not only will we have a pair when we want to watch a movie, but we'll all be able to watch it together. These are great and not like the cheapy pair from the theaters. They don't bother my nose or give me a headache, which is what usually happens with 3D glasses. I would definitely recommend buying these (if you have the compatible TV) for any extra people you may have come over for a movie night.

    Works with Epson Projector!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The RF 3D glasses that are "recommended" for the Epson 2030 HD3D projector are $75 - $100 per pair. Granted, they are rechargeable and likely of higher quality, I needed 4 pairs FAST, so I went with the Samsung glasses at less than $20 per pair. They come with a battery, plus a spare, and you have to assemble them (the arms are not attached, battery not installed) but it took little time and it was easy to do. I was amazed at how easily they paired with the projector. I put a 3D movie in the DVD player, turned on the projector and a prompt came up on the screen to turn on the glasses. As each pair was turned on, a confirmation message displayed on the screen and we were off and running. OMG... the effect was absolutely MINDBLOWING. Even though the box states that these glasses are ONLY compatible with Samsung TV's, it's not true. They work flawlessly with the Epson 3d Projector. Not sure about battery life yet, but battery replacement is EASY. You have to remember to turn them off when you are done... they do not turn off automatically. I am very pleased with this project and highly recommend them. The Epson 2030 3dHD Projector and the Samsung RF 3D glasses make our home theater experience the talk of the neighborhood. Amazing. We weren't sure about getting a projector as opposed to a TV but the picture quality cannot be beat - even if the room isn't completely dark. We have a 125" high def, high quality picture... couldn't be more pleased with the Epson Projector. Beware purchasing anything less than the 2030 model - you won't get true high definition.... don't try to save the $200 - go with the 2030 model. It's worth every penny.

    SSG-5150gb works with Epson 2030

After a long exhausting search thru other customer reviews and questioning Best Buy employees in two states, I decided to pick up the Samsung ssg-5150gb 3d active glasses to try with my new Epson 2030 projector. I am happy to say the glasses pair easily with the Epson 2030 while it is in 3D mode. I tested them out on Pixar's UP and loved the new depth that was now visible in the movie. The glasses are set at an awesome price, so I am one happy camper.

Just what I needed. Works with my UN40FH6030FXZA tv. It's light and comes with the batteries too. Wish it blocked out the sides, but overall a good product. There are some better active 3d glasses out there such as 3active, but if you're short on cash and want enough for the family these will do.

These glasses are affordable, and work very well. They turn themselves off if you are not using them for a short time, and you have to hit the button again, but I'm sure this is to conserve the battery. I've just watched my first 3D movie, so not sure how long the batteries last. Would be nice if they would fold up for storage. Overall, very pleased with how they work.

Works very well with my Panasonic Plasma VT50

I received two pair of these glasses as a 2013 Christmas present. These glasses have a pop-up back for the battery. They take the CR-2025 batteries. I just recently bought another pair of these glasses. They have a screw-in cap for the battery and they take the smaller CR-1620 battery. Two of the CR-1620 batteries came in the package. It is always nice to have a new battery around so it can be quickly replaced when you are watching a 3D movie (or sports event) and the battery dies. However, I have yet had to replace any batteries. These glasses require some assembly but they are easy to snap together. To connect them to the TV, you need to turn the TV on to a 3D program (or turn on the 2D-->3D function). Then you need to point the glasses at the screen and press the button on the top of the glasses. The light on the glasses will blink red then green a couple of times while they are sync'ing with the TV, then turn green. Done, they are sync'ed and you are ready to watch a 3D program. I just watched the College Football's National Championship Game in 3D #using the 2D-->3D function#. The 3D was not over-whelming but it added a unique viewing experience to the game. I had previous watched several HBO movies in 3D as well as several Blu-ray 3D movies. Some of the movies were incredible. I highly recommend these 3D glasses for those with compatible 3D TVs.

The viewing/lens are awesome! I don't like the arms on the glasses, because you can't fold them closed. The frames are cheap, but they are lightweight and easy to wear. Overall, I am very happy with the glasses. I have never seen 3D in such depth!

    Good but fragile

These glasses work incredibly well. They're light weight and reasonably comfortable. That being said, they are extremely fragile at the point where the ear pieces meet the bridge piece. I've had two pairs break because of this. They fit OK over regular glasses (for those of us that are vision impaired), but that fit could probably be better, although wearing 2 pairs of glasses is never going to be a good situation. The performance is top notch though, and if you're careful with them, you should have no problems.

Good glasses good price but use the off switch

I can't help think not everyone knows there is an on an off button for the glasses. The first time I used them I forgot to turn them off and my husband caught it and did it for me, now I know. Anyway, we haven't had an issue, I think people are complaining about short battery life because they aren't using the on/off. These are good, picture does jump right out at you and very clear, just remember to turn them off. We have eight pairs, no complaints.

Glasses have been good so far. Only drawback is I think I left a pair on, and it drained the battery. Hard to locate the type of battery that matches these glasses.
