    I upgraded to this unit from a slower one. It is much faster and the menu options and apps are easier to use. Viewing pictures from a USB stick was a breeze.

    Love this, all I had to do was plug it in and it immediately requested to download the updates (it didn't require some intricate setup prior to use). 3D/blu-ray movies have played great.

    For a mid-level to higher quality player its an excellent buy. Well built, sturdy. Its has the look and feel of an expensive Blu-Ray Player. Nice online apps and quick loading of movies

    I purchased this 4k up-scaling blu ray player to go along with my 4k tv. The unit plays dvds without a hitch. No pauses or skips. The smart features all work as advertised. Many features and functions to fine tune the audio and video parameters to work with high end receivers. Very pleased with this purchase.

    Sony 3D Bluray gave me too much trouble. It would lock up many times and what broke the straw was when it brought my whole house Internet down. Decided to purchase the upscale Samsung unit. Never had an issue with this unit. The unit does provide improvement in movie details but subtle. Sony has the feature to increase the 3D perception depth but could not find this feature with the Samsung model.

    I only gave it a 4 out of 5 becuse it is so new I have only tested it with one film (star Wars, the original) it looked fantastic, but I have had so little experience with the player I feel it would be unfair to rate it as a 5 star with so little to go on.
