I just have trouble operating the remote.the blue ray player works fine

I do a lot of research prior to purchasing anything. We needed a new DVD player with wifi to view Netflix and other online apps since ours was so slow and would lose connection a lot. This player is fast to connect and never loses the wifi connection. It also plays blue ray discs flawlessly.

I was looking for a streaming device with an optical audio output to work with older equipment. This was the same price as the streaming only devices that had optical outputs. It has the Blu-Ray player which was a nice bonus. The 4K up scaling is not going to replace true 4K but it did make a clean sharp image when played on a 4K TV. The user interface is clean and easy to use and the setup process has many different options to work with older equipment. If you just want a small footprint Streaming device this isn't the answer as it is the size of a typical Blu-Ray player and does take up some space.

I love this device. I have a projection system in my basement. This one device upgrade my system to a smart 4K system. For best results add a universal remote and high speed internet to your setup. Then enjoy.

Pros: quality Blu-ray player, 4k upscaling works well with my 4k TV, reasonable price. Cons: not specific to just this player, but all the new Blu-ray players in general. I replaced an older no frills Blu-ray player that finally got old and stopped reading discs all together. I returned a Sony model and got this instead (which is atypical because I am a fan of Sony products). All these newer players are overly complex with too many menus and trying to be too smart. I just want a simple player, but almost impossible to find nowadays. I'm sure the digital streaming market isn't really motivating the manufacturers to make a wide range of Blu-ray players. Seems like all the new players have issues with the "smart" TV and the "smart" Blu-ray player fighting to change the menu resolution, giving the "no signal" problem.

Easy set up. Connects to wifi quick. Reads my dvds/ Blu-Rays faster than older model I had. The remote control does not light up ( I was hoping it would, it's difficult to manouver the bottoms in the dark sometimes) for the price, it's worth it.

Store employee recommended, very impressed! He said he had one like it, that it was reliable and he liked it a lot. We have found it easy to operate and the price was very good! Highly recommend by my family now!

I like this Streaming 4K player . It has everything i was looking for and works good with the new samsung 4K 65in 8000 ser. tv i have. Its hard wired to the internet so no buffering problems with Netflix.

Ok, I thought my tv was already incredible but this 4K player made it look even better. The best price and product. I'm in love, oh and did I mention you can steam Netflix. Totally happy with this purchase.

This bluray player was perfect for my needs. I paired it with a 4 year old Samsung 65 inch 3D HDTV and a new Samsung soundbar. Everything syncs perfectly and is HDMI connected. The player has all the apps I use most i.e. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Pandora, MLB and Hulu. I can manage everything from the blu ray player remote. The set-up was simple and i was good to go in a few minutes. Bluray and 3D PQ is great . WIFI connection is good without any drops but I have to admit that the player is located in close proximity to my router so one would expect it to be perfect. This player is worth the extra bucks just for the 3D and expanded app suite and compatibility with the rest of my TV/audio system.

This Samsung - BD-J6300 - Streaming 4K Upscaling 3D Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray it is great, good price, excellent product and very easy to install! It goes with any TV, (but would recommend Samsung TV). I love it!

I bought this for my ultra high def tv. This DVD player upscales to near 2160p but does not play UHD dvds. That tech costs about $200 more . Great price of equipment just make sure you know what your buying

Love this blu ray player. Great quality and functionality. Love the wifi and network features essentially turning your TV into a smart TV. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice high end product.

Set up for the disk player is foolproof. My sound bar connected to the TV produces very realistic sound. I will stay with Samsung products and recommend this one to any one who asks.

This is good addition for the tv on the family room. movies look great with our cheap 4k tv. for the price I don't think i could have gotten a better player. I you can get it under a Franklin just get it and you won't regret it.
