Quality of picture from this blu-ray player is great, also using the bd-wise feature honestly made great improvement to DVD picture quality, and the WiFi for apps works great on 5GHz

This blu-ray player is very fast in loading the movie much faster then my Denon player 2310i, and that was a pretty good player. But what I like about this player is that it's compatible with my Samsung TV and it activates a feature that Samsung has called the BD-WISE and i never knew what it was until I popped a movie in & it literally inhances the movies resolutions to its best picture quality and sound its the best you'll love it should you have a Samsung TV. I also have vudu and it plays those movies in stunning near 4k resolutions because i have THE F5500 PLASMA TV which are now extinct but the blacks are pretty stunning overall great player.

Easy installation and set-up. Works well with our Samsung HD tv. Nice picture! Easy streaming from Netflix and Amazon. Overall, happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.

Ordered and returned 'Open-Box' (see my prior review) because not as described. Ordered NEW unit and it is fabulous! Excellent picture, sound, etc. and upscaling. Definitely recommend.

Awesome upscalling quality on 4k TV's. For the price you really can't beat it. Easy Samsung integration as usual. Just hope the Plex app comes out soon as that is the only thing missing.

I want the new 4K player but couldn't bring myself to spend the $400 price tag. So, I bought this 4K upscaling player, and the picture is definitely crisper than regular blu ray. A nice blu ray player for a nice price.

The Samsung BD-J6300 is the second Samsung player that I have purchased in the past 2 years. The first was a less expensive version for my living room TV and has worked flawlessly. The 6300 was purchased for the role of main player (I also have a 5 year old Toshiba) for my home theatre. Everything works as per the specs/advertisments. I must note that this was an exchange unit; the first one would not load a blu-ray disc. Samsung's online tech tried but failed to resolve the issue; Best Buy handled the exchange with ease. I have one criticism: I wish the sound set-up in the main menu was more clear/descriptive. Highly recommended!

It is getting harder to find DVD players anymore with streaming as the current format. But occasionally I need one. They seem to be becoming far less featured, but these did the trick and for a reasonable price.

Bought the blu ray for my 8 year old daughters room to hook up to her smart vizio tv and surround sound. It works well, great picture and sound. Also easy to hook up and operate

Very nice, simple design. Easy setup/installation. Worked fine right out of the box as it should have. I have all Samsung components including the TV, so this was a great addition.

Very good picture quality and audio. Wish it would play audio when fast forwarding as my panasonic player did. Controls are very hard to see. Almost have to use remote instead of controls on the player.

Works well with my 4UHD TV. It also has all the usual apps (Netflix, Amazon Video, Pandora, Hulu) plus many more to explore. Both picture and sound are great. Well worth the cost.

This is a great little player. I'm in a college dorm so it fits perfectly. The streaming Wi-Fi is a plus. Not the best ever, but a good price and it works great.

Love the wi-fi feature. Had an older model I used with my smart TV. This helps so we don't have to continue unhooking & hooking up other devices. Also love the default apps.

This blu-ray player is perfect for the price. It definitely has enhanced the picture on my tv when watching movies, versus other blu-ray players that i have. Would buy again.

I didn't really notice the upscale get difference, there were other blue ray players for less, but this one is also wireless,though my TV is already smart. This player also let's you play from a memory stick, but I don't plan on using that either. The real reason I got this, is because it is practically one of the few, if not the only blue ray player left, that brings a optical connection. Important for me to hook up my demon 7.1 inch surround sound system which cost me $ 5000 and still works flawlessly. Yes 7.1. The only other blue ray 3d player that does this was the Panasonic 300dt or something version which I also have.

Love my Samsung even the sound is great straight from the carton. Very easy to setup and operate. Too bad the 4K content is lacking. Come on Comcast, get with the program!
