I like the remote and ease of operation, but I don't care for the"buttons" at the top of the unit. They are not lit, and if the player is under the TV in a cabinet, the functions cannot be readily seen. There are only four, but they could have been lit.

Already have Samsung display and soundbar. Needed to play Blu-rays. This a perfect inexpensive option to add to my existing system. Didn't need smart Blu-Ray since I have it on the TV. Works perfect and links to my soundbar.

I got this specific unit because at the time I got a $40 gift card for buying it. I'm glad I got it though and is worth it without the free giftcard. Easy to install and setup, get on the WiFi and start using apps.

I bought this player during thanks-giving time, and used it to watch my BBC Nature series, very stunning picture quality, also the DVD up-conversion quality is also very good, and love it so much. Highly recommend it.

We've been needing to upgrade to a Blu-ray player from a simple DVD player for sometime now. We don't have a smart TV, but we do have a Samsung plasma TV and the picture quality is excellent on both Blu-ray/DVD and Netflix.

This is the spare room DVD player and it functions just the way I want it to. I like that "smart" capabilities are built in allowing it to be paired with "non-smart" TV. Good Price - not the most expensive model. Good service.

We've used this only a few times since purchasing it, but it gave us streaming services that Apple TV or our "smart" TV could not. The ability to upscale will help ensure that this player will be useful for many years.

I am very pleasantly surprised by the ability of this BD player to upscale non BD to an extremely clear picture. It also plays BD to a very good picture and sound. I find nothing to complain about regarding this purchase.

This Blu-ray player went into my theater room because of its 3-D capabilities. The picture and a high definition quality is great and very enjoyable for me and my family. All in all very satisfied with this component.

I like it very much, the remote is not as easy as previous remotes I've used. I wish they included a booklet as I don't have a printer to print it out and I can't keep trying to look up the directions. Very inconvenient! That kept me from giving 5 stars.

Hey, if you like 3D, this product cannot be beat! You need a 3D TV, a 3D DVD, and the 3D Samsung player. If you don't have all three, it ain't gonna work, period. But, if you have all three, it's sort of wondrous!!

Perfect Blu-ray player for your Samsung TV system!!

I needed a smart 3D Blu-Ray player and this met my need for under $150. Another bonus is I have a Samsung tv and the remote on this will control the volume. Overall performance of this player is good and features nice.

Nice buy for the buck. Easily pairs with other Samsung electronics. But if you have a Smart TV, you should opt to buy a basic player as you won't use most of the connectivity functions. Great unit for not Smart TVs.

Very easy to set up and start using immediately. I have a Harmony remote that needed to be reprogrammed and it was easy as 123. Great product. Don't have a 4K TV yet so I am not sure of the upconverting capabilities.
