I just replaced my 1 year 3 month old 3D Blu Ray Samsung player. It stopped working. Hopefully this new updated player will last longer. Easy to connect. Easy to navigate. It was the best value in the price range.

Blu-ray works very well with Samsung TV (sharing remote functions and turning off / on together). 3D and up scaling is inline with other mid to higher end players. Only negative part is the buttons on the top are hard to read / see when in a cabinet.

Simple, sleek and does what is suppose to do. I stream most of the time . But I also have old DVDs that I just want to pop in and watch without having to go through an onslot of controls etc.

I like the new controls on this system. I would recommend to anyone.

We have a 4K TV and bought this 4K Blu-Ray player to accompany it and, I'll tell you, movies have never looked clearer! It's like you're IN the movie! Even regular Blu-Ray movies (not just 4K HD) look extra sharp.

With so many people forgoing a night out at the movies for streaming this is a great addition to your home entertainment. Access apps AND watch movies when you're not streaming. What more could you ask for ?

Thank God it was relatively easy to set up and get running. Note to BB: I didn't need it this time but please make sure to have available to me experienced technical people who can help me make new purchases work.

The picture from this DVD player is crisp and sharp. You feel like you are at the movie theater. Our Tv is older, but with this DVD player you would never know. Very clear. I am very pleased with this player.

I had no trouble deciding between this Blu-Ray player and the 8500 model which sells for considerably more. Thus far, my wife and I have been very happy with it's ability to make everything look so vividly clear.

Very nice Blue Ray Player; plays DVD with no problems as well; picture is compatible with my LG TV and is clear and crisp; It has a fast boot-up and Smart features with a variety of apps. It was a great price!

Great product, set-up was so easy and painless. It went well with all my other Samsung equipment. Self integrated with the 4K TV, surround sound, and Blu Ray . Has made being lazy and relaxing enjoyable again.

Very happy with the purchase. Was more than I expected. Bought this wanting to have a stand-alone player for blu-rays instead of using the Xbox One. Sound comes out of this unit better than the Xbox One.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu Ray truly lives up to its name. It is optimized with an HDTV, and the Insignia wires. Watching movies makes it feel like I am in a movie, but I am in the comfort of my own home.

Picture is so close to 4K resolution at a much more reasonable cost. Does load a bit slow and is a slightly noisy while it loads, but that is a very minor issue. Seamless integration with the Samsung 4K TV.

Great blue ray player but not bought for that. Used to connect to internet to stream Vudu collections of movies in the cloud. Was easy to set up for me that’s a big plus.

I looked on line to find the DVD player I needed but really couldnt tell enough about them so I went shopping and found this one at Best Buy and I love it! So easy to set up and super easy to use!

Great bluray player!! I definaty notice the difference on DVDs with upscaling. We use it a lot for Netflix since our TV did not come with Netflix access.

Excellent basic DVD player - I bought the Samsung rather than the comparable Sony model as the Best Buy "blue shirt" told me the Samsung was easier to set up with my new Sansung TV. Enhanced picture quality via the 4K simulation is great.

We recently moved and needed a new TV. We are very pleased with the picture quality of this Samsung. The depth of the colors make you feel as if you are there. Especially good for football, golf, etc
