First purchase of a DVD player that is very easy to use & hooks up effortlessly.

It upscales regular blurays to 4K quality. You don't need to buy 3D movies. It works great!

This "Samsung - BD-J6300 - Streaming 4K Upscaling 3D Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player" not only plays discs but also plays from usb thumb drives. For best picture use an HDTV (at least 1080P) and HDMI cable. Be sure to set your devices to their maximum rated resolution. It even has built in WiFi for automatic updates. It works fine even if you don't use 3D. I recommend this as best in it's price class.

At the time of purchased it was on sale kn thanksgiving. The blursy has great picture outcome and wuality sound.

Bought this Blu-ray player to replace an older Samsung Blu-ray player so would have current Netflix app. And it does. I like how the smart screen has everything in one screen. Easy to select. Am having problems connecting to Wi-Fi. Powers up and doesn't connect. Selecting Network Status and Retry a few times and it connects. Perhaps I need to wait a few seconds before trying to select Netflix?

Would definitely recommend this to friends and family. Very simple but great quality.

This was a replacement under our warranty for a player we had purchased years before. The Geek Squad evaluated the problem we were having with the first, and determined it would have to be sent off for repair. They then gave me the option of cashing out the warranty and buying the new one. This experience was far superior to the warranty coverage we ran into with a TV purchased at Walmart. Lesson learned.

The DVD player is an excellent addition to my Samsung tv. Picture quality is outstanding.
