    After Sales Nightmare

    On February 17, I purchased three large household appliances— a washing machine, a dryer, and a dishwasher— from Best Buy. To ensure everything would be perfect, I also bought an extended warranty. Since I’m capable of handling it myself, I declined the installation service because, unfortunately, I’m not satisfied with the workmanship of most installation services. The first shock came the day after my purchase when I received a text message asking me to reschedule the service appointment initially set for March 11. The earliest available date was April 2— 44 days after my purchase! The second shock was realizing that the appliances didn’t come with the necessary installation parts. I made this purchase through Best Buy’s live web chat with a sales representative, opting only to exclude the installation labor. It never crossed my mind that these machines would arrive without such essential components. These weren’t accessories but necessary parts for operation! The sales representative never warned me that I would need to purchase them separately. Moreover, the order confirmation screenshot sent by the representative clearly stated, “This item has services and parts included!” The third shock happened on the scheduled service day. While randomly checking my Best Buy account, I noticed an open slot for March 14. I immediately rescheduled my appointment, and the service team confirmed via text message that they would arrive at 10 AM. I adjusted my schedule accordingly. However, Best Buy’s partner, Lone Star Overnight (LSO), kept pushing back the service time— first to 11 AM, then 12 PM, and finally 1 PM. I couldn’t wait at home any longer, so I had to leave, leaving my two daughters— one older and one younger— at home. The service team finally arrived at 1:26 PM, which I later confirmed through my security cameras. The fourth shock was the rudeness and carelessness of the service team. Even though my daughters asked the technician to wear shoe covers inside the house, he repeatedly stepped outside wearing them and then walked back in, which I could see from the cameras, along with the annoyed expression on his face. I also noticed that the appliances were delivered without packaging! (Could they have been display models and open box?) Since I saw this on the cameras, I asked my daughters to closely monitor the technician and check for any visible damage. When I got home, my daughters told me that the technician struggled to move all three appliances by himself and that one machine scraped against the wall during transportation. However, since he didn’t take our questions seriously, they hesitated to object and say, “We don’t want this in this condition!” Instead, they simply took a picture of the damage. The fifth shock came from the response of Best Buy’s customer service representatives when I shared this terrible experience via text, phone calls, and web chat. • I was told, “We’re handling it immediately, you’ll be called today.” Yet, when Best Buy never called, these conversations continued with different representatives for three days, repeating the same sentences over and over. • Even after I sent a photo of the damaged machine still on the moving cart, one representative had the audacity to say, “How do we know you didn’t do this?” • I was told, “You need to bring the machine to us; we can’t pick it up. Once you bring it in, you can receive a replacement.” • Despite the order stating, “This item has services and parts included” I was told, “Sorry, you have to purchase them” when I asked about the washer’s hot and cold water inlet hoses and the dryer’s power cord. For an additional cost that was only about 1% of the total purchase price, these sales representatives showed no effort or initiative to resolve a disappointed customer’s frustration. In short, since we expected our new machines to arrive, we got rid of our old ones. Since that day, we haven’t been able to do laundry at home. We are still waiting for our new machine. If I experienced all of this just during the initial purchase, I don’t even want to imagine what I might go through during the five-year warranty period. It was a terrible experience. I think my next purchase won’t be from Best Buy.

    BUYER BEWARE - Stopped working after 29 months!!!

    BUYERS BEWARE. I normally don't write reviews, however, I am normally not this upset about a product. I bought the Samsung - BESPOKE 5.3 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Stackable Smart Front Load Washer with Steam and AI OptiWash - Brushed Navy in January 2023 for approximately $1100 including tax and also purchased a matching dryer. We don't use the washer much with only a two person household. Nonetheless, the product stopped working only 29 months later in late June 2025 due to what the repairman says is a bad control board. The cost of a control board from Samsung was quoted at approximately $600+ and, with the service, was going to cost a total of $880 to repair. Apparently, very POOR QUALITY and such a waste of money. I will not be buying any Samsung washers or dryers in the future. Purchase at your own risk..

    Want to spend $1K+ for a smart washer that is unable to connect to its “smart” app? Me neither. The user experience is horrible the first time you plug it in. It can’t even complete a basic registration?? Come on man. What are we doing here?

    Horrible bought brand new did not work spin cycles makes loud noise and shakes like 8.0 earthquake item is defective used it 1 time cant get a replacement gotta call Samsung and 20 different prompts.

    This machine (and the matching dryer both) broke after about 4 months of light residential use about 3 weeks apart (washer first, dryer second). We have been without a washing machine for now a month and there is no end in sight.

    Very poor service from Best Buy and samsung as we received washer and dent so they changed it and still not received dryer as it is out of stock and we paid before 3 month

    Garbage. Blew the bearing in less than 18 months. No warranty after 12 months and extremely expensive to repair. Absolutely garbage design. Sounds like a freight train it is SO LOUD with all sorts of weird grinding sounds. Worst purchase of my life.

    Not User Friendly & Overly Technical. I hate the touch screen it never wants to work right. There is no option for an extra spin cycle. Im over companies making things so fancy without out any extra utility in them. Just another feature to break and cost a fortune to fix. Only reason we bought these is we need the larger capacity. I do not recommend them at all!

    A little late with this review, for me, but not for a prospective buyer. The almost $1,000 washer only comes with a 1 year warranty! I had the total tech package which made it 2 years, but that wasn’t enough. I should have used my Amex card to add another year free, but I said what the heck, a washer usually lasts 8-10 years. APPARENTLY NOT SAMSUNG. ONLY about 27 MONTHS until the pump motor went! Total tech members get 20% off, so the diagnostic visit was $99 and the repair cost $374! For one part! NEVER AGAIN!!! Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me! At least the total tech repair guys, Sam and Gene were top shelf and gentleman, and they fixed it quickly, but I paid almost half the price of the washer to fix just one part. I have been told that Samsung appliances unlike their phones are not quality and long lasting products. You got me this time Samsung, plus I’ll never use anything Apple phones to the day I die! “Best Buyer” beware! Caveat emptor …. in any language but another brand!!

    Delivery people ruined this customer

    Purchased thos washer only to have the delivery people come to my house, take some pictures, then leave with my washer still in the truck. Their customer service said they have brackets on the truck for the stackable washer we purchased but apparently they didnt. Delivery people couldnt be more rude, my wife was literally chasing the truck down my street as they drove away.

    Leaks out the front door. I use the bleach cup. It leaks right out as well. Also very inconvenient any little tiny piece of anything you have to clean the filter out and water goes all over the floor.

    I purchased this washer from BEST BUY Oct 14th they set delivery for Nov 28th. On Nov 26th I asked for delivery to be switched to Dec 5th. They approved with no issue. I got confirmation. On Nov 28th they send me a message that I need to reschedule to JANUARY 12 because they ran out to washers even though I was suppose to have it delivered that day. They gave my washer to someone else and is not making me wait a month and half AFTER they have my money OF COURSE. Let's see how this time goes with laundry of my 7 kids. Hate this!
