Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Chromebook Plus 2-in-1's touchscreen, ease of use, lightweight design, and good battery life. Many appreciate its convenient size and performance capabilities. However, some users express disappointment with the sound quality of the speakers and the lack of a standard USB port. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the negative comments regarding the less-than-ideal audio and port selection.

Wanted something to replace old Windows Millenium computer used for email, web activity and some word processing. This serves those purposes quite well. Like that I don't have to spend all that time and money on regular updating software and worrying about viruses. Very easy to set-up and use. While included software (word processing for example, is not as comprehensive as WORD, neither is it as complicated to use (and who really uses ALL of the features of that full-featured word-processor?). Quite satisfied with quality, features, and long-battery life.

I like this a lot. Relatively fast, flexible, clear screen. I like that it can funcion like a tablet and has native Google Play Store installed. Like the stylus, even though it doesn't have much function yet.

Ive owned several Macbooks and PC Notebooks. Most of my usage is on my phone but there is times where a larger screen and physical keyboard are really nice to have. This laptop feels very premium, screen is razor sharp. Having usbc and a hideaway stylus is just a cherry on top. Of your usage is fairly normal most can use a Chromebook as there primary machine like me. One of the best laptops I've owned period!

Solid keyboard, beautiful screen, decent battery life, and by and large the Android apps just work. I do wish it had slightly more internal storage but hey that's what the SD card reader is for.

This has been a perfect purchase for me. I love reading digital magazines and even eBooks in the tablet mode. I like being able to switch out of tablet to computer keyboard so quickly and easily by simply moving the screen position. The display is great -- very clear and crisp. Since I use Google docs and sheets to share with others often, a chrome book is a perfect fit for my computing needs. I do wish the camera could be switched from front to back but understand the design problems in being able to do this. It starts up quickly and the battery life is very good ( 6 to 8 hours for me easily). So far, I have had no issues with this device and I have been using it for about a month.

Purchased for my daughter who needed a smaller laptop to carry to class. Liteweight and not bulky. This book also flips over to look like a tablet and has a touch screen. A great buy.

I researched this device for a couple of weeks before purchasing. The thought of having Android apps on a Chromebook is what sold me on the device. For a first attempt, it was well thought out and nicely executed. Most of my common Android apps run well, with a few being quirky. The quality of the device is excellent. The battery life and performance of the device are superb. Having two USB-C ports and a micro-SD slot make it more appealing. My only two complaints are it would be nice if the micro-SD card could be used more like a jump drive instead of having to dig deeply into the system to find it and a little more widescreen aspect ration instead of the 3:2.

Great 360 Chromebook w/ Android Apps

So far, this is a great addition to the family of gadgets! Great for couch surfing w/ the ability to do 360 degree folding. I'm not sure yet how useful the ability to run Android apps will be, as they seem to run in mobile format. Perhaps when the developers catch up and have the apps format to a desktop resolution it will be more useful, but still it's nice to have access to them if you want! Screen is really nice, and device has a nice feel to it. Battery is good, although the device doesn't handle sleep very well with preserving battery when not in use. Would probably be better if I actually shut it down instead of just closing the screen :)

Definitely recommend this machine. Would only have rated 5 stars if price was slightly better although I have recently heard you can do a laptop trade-in if you have any clunker laying around somewhere (this was not available during time of my purchase) Somethings that do keep value is the 3 year google drive cloud space you get for free so keep that in mind. Screen is fantastic as everyone says it is. If you are looking for a Chromebook in general to pick up, this is definitely the one. Only other slight flaw would be keyboard size is a bit small but thats what you get for a 12 inch screen so really no complaints. Definitely a recommended product*

    ChromeBook Hybrid excellences

I purchased this little over a month ago, and have to say I love this device. I was torn between and Laptop or a new Tablet. This device was able to supply both needs. How ever I am not using this for a gaming machine or anything advanced. I am using it for a day to day video and music player, and browser. Even though I believe it could do more. The battery is amazing and the android play store can play a lot of apps. That said the main reason that I give it 4 stars and not 5 is at it's core it is a chromebook and does not support all apps and is very difficult to add unknown APK's on to it. Still though the best bang for you buck as a Hybrid device.

I bought 2 of these for my kids. They both broke after about a year. So I’m on our second set. Some of the keys wouldn’t work on one and the other got a little glitchy. But my kids liked them for school and much cheaper than an iMac so far so good with the new ones, 3 months now.

I wanted a laptop because I felt I was missing out on something when mine broke about a year ago. But w/my smart phone, I didn't really "need" a new one. Well I was definitely missing out. My chrome book works both ways. (Not a phone, but it can be) I am able to create spread sheets or documents, or even collages & I can actually SEE what they look like. And it's at least as easy as the smart phone. Probably easier. Way lighter then a laptop!! I am still learning it, but MAJOR thumbs up for what I've seen or done so far.

It took a little getting used to as I'm I've been a Windows laptop user, but now I prefer the Chromebook. Google provides all the crafting capabilities I need within Docs, Sheets, and Slides. I love the portability of this device and how lightweight it is. The hybrid feature is nice. I haven't used the pen much with this device, and I was disappointed to find it was NOT the performance enhancing pen familiar to Samsung Note users. It's basically just a pointer that allows you to draw. If they had made that obviouson the box, I probably would have given it 5 stars, but I spent extra money expecting that value and didn't get it.

I was torn b/w this and the newest ASUS flip, but this went on sale, so I tried it. I was concerned about the lesser chip in this vs the Pro, but it has handled my usage (mostly surfing, streaming and some documents) just fine. I haven't used the stylus yet, but I consider it a bonus that may come in handy. I love the ability to utilize different screen positions. I was used to the wider screen ratio, but this one hasn't bothered me much (and is ideal for tablet mode...touch screen is very responsive).

I had been watching and reading reviews about this computer for a good two weeks. Finally my laptop had broke, and I went out and bought the Samsung Chromebook. First the style is amazing the all metal body helps keep the nicks away and scarrches. Second the screen is so beautiful and the best of any chromebook. Third the stylist is what makes the tablet a tablet. This tool can capture screens and draw on anything. I love being able to take notes and not have to worry about putting it in my bag because it goes right inside this computer. Overall. This has been an amazing experience and I hope Samsung and Google keep it up.

Saving documents and navigating the Google interface is a bit strange if you've been a Microsoft user. Some of the apps are limiting: Facebook Messaging lags, clearing too many notifications at once has made the Chromebook crash, too many tabs is an instant freeze to the account --- but overall would recommend for the average user. If you're looking for a device to run several programs, I would not recommend. But if you're looking for something sleek, simple, and fit for the road - heck yes!

Perfect replacement for older HP chromebook

Had to replace my older HP chromebook and fell in love with this. It was a little more money than i wanted to spend but it had more memory and more space than my HP (the trade-off was a smaller screen). Once i had it in my hands i didn't care the screen size was smaller, the color and clarity of the screen blew me away. With my HP chromebook, my wife and i had to scrunch together and i had to angle the screen in just the right position to watch a movie. With this bad-boy we can sit comfortable and watch it at any angle! As an artist, i love the pen and the touch screen functionality. All-in-all i think it's a great purchase.
