I purchased this chomebook to replace my Macbook Air 11 that I gave to my daughter. I never thought for the $449.00 price I can get top quality product. The build is all aluminum just like macbook. The screen is identical to retina if not even better. This chromebook boots up in less than 10 seconds. I use the google docs in I save most of my documents in google drive. I also added a 64GB micro sd to this device and I store all my files that I use on a regular basis and I back them up to the cloud. I also saved all my music files locally and it is very fast and stable. I highly recommend this product to anyone who's just needing to do all their work online and watch movies and play music online.

Got this for my son for HS. The stylus sold us on this model over others. Then when we got it the screen is amazing, functionality is beyond expectations.

if you are expecting Laptop or computer processing performance then this is not for you. But if you want something that allows you to access email, internet , and cloud type items lightning fast with excellent battery life this is a great machine . My wife is a realtor and sometimes needs to access her company server or cloud based services when out and about. She can pop this baby open( instant on ) turn on her wifi hotspot and be up and running.. get the info she needs , shoot an email to a client ,make a contract change, etc where in the past she would have to wait to get back to the office. I'm picky and I think this machine has exceeded my expectations.

If you just want a laptop to surf the web, or watch you tube, this device is perfect. If your heavy on google services, this device is for you. All day battery life, its light, and the image quality is superb. If you do processor intensive work on your laptop then this device won't be for you.

This Chromebook has been great since day 1. Really good battery life with very good performance on browsing make it easier on my travels. Samsung Chromebook Plus is very compact and light too.

I have tried other Chromebooks in the past only to be disappointed. The Asus was awesome but very fragile as it is not made with a Gorilla Glass screen. Acer's new Chromebook is ugly but study and I can't stand the Celeron processor. Samsung combined what I liked in the two and threw in a stylus that works great. There is even a spot to store it unlike the Tab S3. I chose this Chromebook because it does have a normal keyboard unlike the Tab S3 and the weight is great considering the larger size. Android apps run well on it with an occasional crash of Chrome. I put that on Google as they are still integrating Android apps on Chromebooks. This device is fast!

This Chromebook is a tablet killer for me. Great build, gorgeous screen, fast, light weight, convertible (actually works well as a tablet), s-pen, price... and many more positive things.

If you have to keep in touch through email, or edit documents or spreadsheets and don't need any high end Microsoft software to accomplish your needs, this machine is the perfect tool for you!! Lightning fast boot-ups and great performance. Best purchase I've made in a long time.

Love this new Samsung Chromebook Plus. So easy to use and super lightweight. I bought this to replace my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 and couldn't be more pleased. The price was right and store personnel answered any questions I had. A good choice for anyone wanting to replace a tablet.

I had a low end ASUS Chromebook that was fine for minimal tasks but as I got more and more into using the Chromebook instead of my Windows laptop, it wasn't powerful enough. This one is. I am not a heavy user, but I can easily keep quite a few tabs and apps open and functioning at once, and there is no lag etc watching videos, listening to music and so on. I also like the size a lot. If you are a power user, this will disappoint, but most people are not. And I am definitely spoiled by Chromebook whenever I have to crank up by windows 10 (for a couple of work applications you cannot do in Chromebook).

This is for all the super Android operating system fans! This Chromebook is really fast, reliable and powerful and the stylus is so much fun! If you're looking for something that can help and keep up with you and the latest operating system improvement updates then get this ASAP:)

Love the chrome book. It’s an upgrade for me over my old one. Touch screen is great and the pen that comes with it is also nice. I seem to use my iPad less and less as I have the best of both worlds - touch screen like a tablet and a physical keyboard like a laptop.

This is a good replacement for a laptop. It's fast, lightweight, and easy to operate. The only drawbacks is the lack of an usb port and the speaker quality.

I use the internet/computers with a light-moderate use. This is perfect for the amount I use it. It is responsive and accurate. The touch screen is great for the occasional sketch or itch for tablet use. The design is sleek and thin. Overall wonderful product.

I am a traditional PC guy. I have an iCore PC laptop and numerous tablets. This is my device of choice. The screen is amazing. Best screen I have ever used. Portability is perfect for laptop/tablet function. I have yet to find a major issue. The only headaches are certain video files will not play (mts) and it helps if you have a google cloud printer. Other printers are able to work but require some work around. I have no regrets and plan on becoming an all-google chrome home.

Very pleased with this computer, but there are a few things that could be better. First, while this is not really an issue, it's kind of difficult to flip open... you have to grab the edges just right in the small cutout on the front. Next, I was expecting the speed to be better... it's not always noticeable, but my daughter's older Acer Chromebook seems to load pages a bit quicker. Haven't had this for very long, so it may take more time to get a better comparison. Lastly, I haven't been able to find several apps that will work, although I know it will still take some time for all apps to be compatible. One of the apps that I couldn't get to work was for DirecTV, & it wouldn't work through the Chrome browser either. Aside from all those things, I would still choose this high quality machine at this price point & over others on the market.

I like the build quality of the chassis. The screen quality was the main reason for purchase. My first unit I purchased had a hot white pixel that was unresponsive right in the middle of the screen. I loved everything else about it so I figured I would just return it for a different one and problem solved. As soon as I got the new one home I set it all up and right away noticed a dead black pixel at the top right of the screen. That was enough for me. I figured I could live with it but what if it got worse and I was out of the return window. And when paying $400+ for a Chromebook I find this unacceptable. If they fixed the quality control issues this is a great product.

So far the Chromebook has been fantastic. The size, weight and flexibility of the device is everything I expected and more. I am having some trouble with watching recorded shows through my cable provider's website. The screen does a weird pixelated green glitch every few minutes but I've done some trouble shooting and it appears to be a problem with the website and not the device. I love having the stylist option and all the Google apps the come with the device are much easier to use than Microsoft. I love this device and am very happy with my purchase.

I like the fact that I could fold it in half and use it as a tablet, and the fact that it comes with a stylist makes it fun to draw for my daughter. Personally I'm used to having a right click to use. This does not have that feature

I was hesitant to purchase a Chromebook. I've read some negative reviews in the past about other earlier models, which made me nervous. But after a few words with the Geek Squad in store, it turns out that this Chromebook was in fact perfect for me. I primarily use my machine for word processing, email, and web surfing. So no need for heavy computing power. This machine does all of that perfectly. And the display! Wow, what an amazing screen at this price point. The machine is sleek, light and looks great, and the 2in1 function with the built in pen is really cool. Give this one a chance. Absolutely no buyers remorse after a few weeks of heavy use.
