We were looking for just a basic dvd player - not a blue ray. This Samsung worked out nicely. Good sound and playback & easily set up. Had bought a Sony basic player which was sluggish on the controls and finally too frustrating, having to reboot to get it to even eject the dvd after a few months of use..... not worth the hassle to deal with sending it back to the manufacture warranty center. Not bought at Best Buy!!!!

This is a great DVD player! It works very well with our Samsung TV and we can control both by using the remote that came with the DVD player. The HD upconversion is nice, and you can really tell a difference. The only problem is that its so light that when you press the button to put a DVD in, it slides backwards. You just have to hold the top of it or put better rubber feet on it. But overall, it's a great DVD player, especially for the price.

Purchased this DVD Player to hook up to a TV via HDMI for my Mom. Set up was a breeze and ease of use for Mom was important. Unit has performed without issue since installation.

I found the up conversion excellent. The availability of an HDMI output makes this DVD player an excellent choice for those with older 480 resolution players wanting to upgrade.

This was a medium range DVD with Bluetooth but nothing else too fancy. It worked great for our needs. It installed easily and seamlessly set up with the TV. My husbands favorite part is the auto off when done & returns the TV to the TV channel so he doesn't have to find the extra remote to change the input....... Good price. nice DVD. Easy to use.

Was easy to hook up. Gives good picture. When drawer opens & closes for DVD it is louder & slower than other players. Just don't like remote.

Purchased this player for my camp. Don't need all the bells and whistles, just a basic unit. Works great for what I need it to do. Small & compact and perfect for camp.

I love this DVD. It's not blue ray, but it serves the purpose. It also automatically goes to the correct input when turned on and/or off; it's hooked up to a Samsung 4K TV.

Good quality, great price, not too bulky and easy to set up

I was surprized at the ease of the setup. I had a sony before and it was constantly buffering which annoying. Good to see they have improved.

I wanted a cheap DVD player that I could just plug and play. This unit is perfect. The picture is great and the remote works as advertised.

This is the best one ever all the other ones are poorly made and you can't see on this one I can see play, eject etc

Needed a simple DVD player for a 2nd TV. Found it cheaper on another site and Best Buy matched the price in store. It is very simple to operate and gets the job done.

DVD player works fine. Only concern is the inconsistent response from the Samsung TV remote, from a previously purchased Samsung TV.

Nice DVD player if you don't need Wi-Fi. Easy to set up and use.
