    It's working well so far. It's the only dvd player I could find anywhere that displays the elapsed time of the movie. The remote works pretty well.

    I purchased this item as a gift to myself for Christmas. I wanted an additional DVD player for the second TV in my home. I wanted to try a Samsung DVD player because I have been a Sony customer for many years. So, far I am pleased with the purchase. In the future I will add an additional DVD player for the guess bedroom and the purchase will be Samsung. The price was very afforable. It was easy to setup and with no problems.

    I bought this dvd player for a bedroom so I wasn't looking for anything fancy. I have had good luck with Samsung products in the past and this unit is exactly what I expected.

    I have always wanted a simple DVD player (simple, but good quality picture) for the bedroom (I sleep with the TV on in the background). I was very pleasantly surprised to find such a reasonably priced DVD player (and, even though not on sale, the product is excellent for the price).

    i have older magnavox machines and they use dvd+rw, I can no longer play anything on them from this machine because they changed it to dvd-rw.
