I was looking for a no frills dvd unit and this Samsung model fit the bill. Appears to work fine with no problems just lacking a remote but what can you expect from $35??

Bought this for elderly parent, who is able to use this easily. Nice dvd player at a great price.

If you are like me and have a huge DVD collection this is great for reducing wear and tear on you're Blu Ray player or PS3/4.

Most Samsung players no longer have a light to show the unit is on. This one does. And, it does everything else it's supposed to do. Great for the price.

Great compliment to our Samsung curved 4HD TV. Easily set up and works really well. Very small unit that fits in well with our system. Great says it all!

Product was packaged well and very easy to set up and install. The functionability is pretty good just a bit slow in the loading process.

Simple and easy to use. Don't like that if I take a DVD out and put it in days later it starts in the effect same spot

Works great, fulfills my needs. Buttons do need to be a little more sensitive and it is kind of noisy when it ejects or closes, but nothing major.

We needed a DVD player for our tv and only wanted one that could play regular DVDs for a reasonable price. This one was under $45 and works great.

Works great with our Samsung TV. Automatically turns on the TV when you turn on the unit and load a DVD.

This DVD player is perfect and the best part is the size. It's small and compact and fits perfect in my beautiful media center which isn't very deep.

It's nothing special, but works fine and supposedly upconverts to 1080, which you really aren't going to notice from a DVD anyway. For a $30 DVD player it's fine though.

Great unit , but I didn't realize that there is not skip buttons on the player itself. Only the remote. Every thing else is great.

Great economical UPCONVERSION DVD PLAYER! All connections to TV & simple as well!. LCD included. Remote small simple handy in a grip. You can't go wrong. This is a NOT a Blu Ray player. Keep in mind before purchase. You can connect a HDMI wire or the other green/blue/red component wire 2nd best connection! With that said Audio connection COAXIAL orange wire needed if use with the reciever. This was a purchase for my father the dumb flat TV .

I have several Samsung products (including a tv) and usually they are great, but this DVD player has me concerned. It "freezes up" a lot, which is really frustrating. I check that the DVDs I'm playing aren't dirty; one only had a fingerprint and apparently that was enough to stall the machine. Disappointing. Maybe I just got a rare lemon.

I have a Samsung SmarTV and had the apps and other extras the more expensive DVD player offerred. This was a lower price and works great! Love the slim design.

Once insert a movie player au automatically shifts Samsung TV to DVD mode. However, doesn'the switch back when ejected.

If you don't want to spend Blue-Ray DVD player money... This is a great alternative at less costs....

My wife insisted we get a new DVD player so I stuck with Samsung to match the TV. Easy to install and we are very pleased with the purchase.

Purchased this DVD player for our bedroom. It is small and doesn't take up much room and perfect when we want to watch a movie in our bedroom.
